DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT
ARTHUR KINDLER
Transitioned 10/9/2017 in Tucson, AZ, where he lived most of his adult life. He was a retired United States Air Force veteran. He attended Middleton High School, Class of 1960.
He leaves behind a wife, adult children, adopted daughter, sib- lings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. We will all miss him so much.

MR. BENJAMIN EDWARD MITCHELL
A Homegoing Service for Mr. Benjamin E. Mitchell of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, will be held on Wednes- day, October 18th, 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bishop Millie Mitchell, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Benjamin was born August 31, 1995 in Pasadena, Califor- nia. He graduated from Middle- ton High School, class of 2013, where he played football and basketball. He was a performer and musician. He was a full- time student at Hillsborough Community College.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Clarence Mitchell, Sr. and Ethel Eliza- beth Mitchell; aunts, Doris Blocker and Frankie R. DuPree; and uncle, Clarence Mitchell, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Brenda Fae Samaul; father, Ben Ed- ward Mitchell; grandparents, Boyle Samual and Rosa Lee Samual; brothers, Brian David Mitchell and Charles Mitchell; sisters, Edwina Mitchell, Sara Mitchell and Ashley Mitchell; aunts, Betty McDaniels, Bettie Samaul, Edna Samual and Min- nie Mitchell; uncles, Elton Mc- Daniels, Henry L. DuPree, Sr. David Samual and Ray Samual; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, classmates and co-workers, who will miss him.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tues- day, October 17th from 4-7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the service.

A judge sentenced a 21- year-old man to 40 years in prison. He was convicted of killing a woman at a night club in 2014.
Dougie Glidden was convicted of shooting into a crowd outside Club 301, on U. S. Highway 301 in August 2014. One of the shots struck a club patron, Ms. Mirabel Sanchez-Garcia. Ms. Sanchez-Garcia, 49, died as a result of the injuries she sustained.
Officials said Glidden, who was 18 at the time, had gotten into a disagreement with security officers and they refused to allow him to re-enter.
He is said to have gone into the parking lot and broke the window to a truck parked there. Around 3 a.m., he allegedly drove past the

club in a sport utility vehicle and fired several shots into the crowd.
He was convicted of sec- ond-degree murder. Judge Christopher Sabella sen- tenced him to life in prison with suspension after 40 years. However, he will re- main on probation for the re- mainder of his life.

ERNEST SUTTLES ... Graduate of Gaither High School
and charged with sexual bat- tery. He has also been dis- missed from the team last Saturday.
Police said Ernest Sut- tles, a graduate of Gaither High School, was arrested after officers responded to a 9-1-1 call around 3:15 a.m. Officers said Suttles, 23, is accused of committing sexual battery.
Suttles transferred to Memphis before the 2013 season after he was released from Nebraska for allegedly hitting a teammate.
