JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad defensive back Earl Wolff is doing well after he was allegedly kidnapped and released by armed gunmen late last month in Fayet- teville, North Carolina, the team said Saturday.
The news of the alleged kidnapping was first reported by the Fayetteville Observer.
Wolff has asked through the Jaguars that his privacy be respected, and he does not wish to speak about the inci- dent.
According to the report by The Fayetteville Observer, Fayetteville police received a call about 3 a.m. ET on Feb. 23 that a man was robbed and kidnapped. Citing police, the paper reported that Wolff had been visiting friends in the area and was

The Eagles waived him on Aug. 1 and he later agreed to an injury settlement (knee). The Jaguars signed him to the practice squad on Dec. 22.

NATE DIAZ And CONOR MCGREGOR
LAS VEGAS — The fight game is a humbling one. Conor McGregor learned that at UFC 196.
McGregor, the once seem- ingly invincible Irishman des- tined to hold UFC titles in multiple weight classes, tapped to a rear-naked choke applied by Nate Diaz on Saturday night. The finish came at 4:12 of the second round in a wel- terweight bout McGregor ap- peared to be in control of early.

Kendrick Lamar Releases New Album At LeBron James’ Request
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Turning his Twitter account into a real-life “Field of Dreams”-like mechanism to will something into being, Cavaliers forward LeBron James tweeted to hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and Anthony Tiffith, the CEO of the Top Dawg Entertain- ment record label, a little more than a week ago asking them to release new music by Lamar that they were sitting on.
Sure enough, Lamar seemingly granted James’ request late Thursday night by tweeting out his new album, “Untitled Unmas- tered” to the world.
James was asked about his relationship with Lamar after Cleveland’s shoot- around Friday.
“Is there any back story? Um, it’s just family ties,” James said. “That’s all. It’s family ties.”
Lamar, 28, is not actually

related to the 31-year-old James, but the Los Angeles- based performer and James share a close friend in Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul.
“Really close,” James said. “Admire each other’s work and each other’s craft. And even with him being all the way on the West Coast and me being here, we share a lot of qualities, being around the same age.”
Despite the late Thursday release, James said he had already listened to the eight- song, 34-minute album come Friday morning.
