the station wagon, to sell Krispy Kreme Donuts, door to door and we loved spending our days with her at the Rec Centers. Her grandchildren were a staple in her life, and she loved and cher- ished them all. She was a pio- neer of her time, she established and pastored her own church, known as Holy Hill Zion, 2341 W Chestnut St. Through this min- istry she touched many hearts and souls, where she taught many about Jesus Christ our Savior. She paved the way for fu- ture pastors and various min- istries.
Julia Evans was preceded in death by: her parents, Charlie and Isabella Whaley; husband, Scott Evans Sr.; siblings, Abee Whaley, Ruth Hill, Mary William, Ida Lue Whaley, Mittie C. Cochran; son, Aurthor George Whaley; and grandson, Apostle Christopher Reed Evans Sr.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: her daughter, Ida Evans; sons, Scott Evans Jr. and Don Evans; sister-in-law, Lottie Kate Evans; brother-in-laws, George Evans Jr., James Evans, Charlie Williams; grandchil- dren, Julia Mae Whaley , Lisa Whaley Duncan (Delroy Dun- can), Voncia Whaley, Jeanette Scott Whaley, Kathy Scott Wha- ley, Darien Evans, Donna Evans, Joy Evans, and Dana Evans; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other beloved relatives in Albany, Georgia and Tampa, Florida.

MS. JULIA EVANS
Ms. Julia Evans passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022. Fu- neral Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue Tampa FL. 33606 with Pastor Tommy Jackson, officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Julia was born in Camilla Georgia on July 19, 1929, to the late Charlie and Isabella Whaley. She was the last of six children. She moved to Tampa as a young woman with her husband, Scott Evans Sr., and her then two chil- dren, Author Whaley and Ida Evans. They later had Scott Evans Jr. and Don Evans. She worked as a maid during the day and went to Blake High School at night, where she earned a GED. With high aspirations and goals for the future, she worked as a custodian for the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation, for 20 plus years. During her time as a custodian, she worked at several Tampa Rec Centers, but spent most of her time at Loretta In- gram and Rey Park.
Julia was very fond of her grandchildren so wherever you saw her, her grandchildren were not too far behind. We have fond memories of her packing us all in

Mrs. Beverly W. Feiy passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022. Public Visitation will be held Sat- urday, July 16, 2022, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Revealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33603. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Beverly was born Sept 9, 1941, to James and Florence Wil- son. She was the 4th oldest of 9 kids. She moved to Tampa with her family in 1985, where she worked for the City of Tampa until she retired in 2005. She was a faithful Member of Reveal- ing Truth Ministries under the covering of Pastors Gregory Sr. and Deborah Powe. She served in many departments including GPM, Super Seniors, and was a part of the Red Hats.
Mrs. Beverly was preceded in death by: her 9 siblings and daughter, Barbara Ann Pickett.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 39 years, Mr. Edward Feiy; chil- dren, Darrell Pickett I of Cler- mont FL, Yvonne Brooks of Tampa FL, Denise Pickett of Tampa FL, and their spouses; 9grandchildren, Anthony, An- drew, Darrell, Duwan, Mark, Darchelle, Adrienne, Denisha and Lenora; 12 great grands; and nieces and nephews from Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, California,
North and South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.

MR. GEORGE McNAIR
Mr. George McNair passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Prentiss Davis, offici- ating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
George was the son of Louis and Mercedes McNair. He was given the name George in honor of his maternal grandfather, George Douglas, and Preston in honor of his paternal grandfa- ther, Preston McNair. The Mc- Nair family made their home in West Tampa where George grew up. He attended the schools in the area, Dunbar Elementary and Howard W. Blake Junior- Senior High School from which he graduated with the class of 1966.
Growing up in a family with strong religious beliefs, at an early age he was exposed to the teachings of the Baptist and Methodist Faiths. Choosing to follow the Methodist Faith, in his pre-teens, he joined his mother and sister as a member of Mt. Olive AME Church. Armed with his faith and the support of his family, George enlisted in the United States Army following High School. It was a tumultuous time in his- tory, the time of The Vietnam War. He completed his tour of duty in the Army, then returned safely to Tampa. Upon return, he found employment with his dad on the docks of Tampa as a member of ILA Local 1402 Longshoremen’s Union. In addi- tion to his employment as a longshoreman, he has also been employed at Tampa Interna- tional Airport as a Baggage Han- dler and with the Port of Tampa Cruise Line.
Having never married nor fathered children, he developed a close bond with his nephews, Timothy and Dolphus Jr. and their families. This relationship, he cherished.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Lula Mae Fulgeon, and Betty John- son; brother-in-law, Willie Ful- geon; and nephew, Dolphus Johnson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: brother-in-law, Dol- phus Johnson, Sr.; nephews, Timothy (Shayla) Johnson, Devin, Timothy Johnson, Jr., and Willie Fulgeon Jr.; nieces, Patricia Henderson, Theresa Lavine (Judson), Betsey Alday (Doug), Antrissia Donaldson, Brittany, Delaney, Brittani, Brent, and Harley Johnson; cousins, Annie Grace Flinn, Glo-
ridine McNair, Nancy Sutton, Alma McMillan, and Katrine Harris; and many friends.

Tyrone was a native of Tampa for 50 years. He at- tended Leto High School and H.C.C. and was a member of Forest Hills Church of Christ. He was employed as a Manager of Operations at Mike’s Pies.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Gabrielle Thomas; son, Tyler Thomas; daughter, Tiana Thomas; grandsons, Bryce Thomas and Elijah Thomas; mother, La’Trell Ghant (Jimmie); fa- ther, Jack Maddox; siblings, Hugh Thomas (Elizabeth), Jacquelyn Mitchell, Reginald Maddox, Deon Maddox (Samantha), Charlie Everett (Patricia), and LaKeisha Mad- dox; special families, The Thomas, Maddox, Mason and Jackson families; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
