MR. HOWARD JOHNSON
Mr. Howard Johnson of Tampa, Fl, passed away quietly at his home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Howard was the third child born to Frank and Alzena Johnson. He was a native of Tampa and grew up in Ybor City. He was educated in the Hillsborough County School System attending Meacham and Booker T. Washington Schools.
While employed with East- ern Airlines, he was drafted into the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon com- pletion of his military service, he returned to Tampa and worked as a construction la- borer.
Howard was an independ-
ent, fun, loving and hardwork- ing individual. He was very family-oriented. He loved his family, life-time companion, Mildred Wright, her children and his five nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by: his father, Frank Johnson; his mother, Alzena Gyden Johnson; sister, Mary Helen Johnson Kemp; his life- long companion, Mildred Wright; brothers, Charlie Frank Johnson, Paul Johnson and Willie A. Johnson, Sr.
Cherishing his memory and celebrating his life are: his nephews, Willie A. John- son, Jr., (Caridad), Robert Walker, (Retha), Charlie Frank Johnson, Jr., (Joanne), Henry Kemp (Christine), and Frank Kemp (Michelle); stepchildren, Ronald Swin- son, Elizabeth Harris, Gloria Fryer, Izeal Holton and Veronica Lawrence and a host of other relatives and friends who loved and cared for him.

MR. JAMIE LAMAR “B.J.” HART
Mr. Jamie Lamar “B.J.” Hart of Thonotosassa, Florida, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 9750 Rockhill Rd., Thonotosassa, Florida 33592, Rev. Willie Richardson officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jamie born on January 30, 1976, to the late Willie James Hart, Sr., and Barbara Shaw. He was a native and a resident of Thonotosassa, Florida, for 46 years.
He was educated in Hills- borough County School sys- tem and obtained his high school diploma when he was just 16 years old. He was not a member of a church however he did know God. Based on his personal relationship with God, he found the need to live a very simple and humble lifestyle. He was an avid reader of religion and politics and very passionate about is political views.
He is preceded in death by: his grandmothers, Rosie Mae Hills, and Alice Hart Perry; grandfathers, Christopher Columbus Shaw, Sr., and Lemoyne Hart, Sr.; father, Willie James Hart, Sr.; aunts, Alesia Williams, and Joyce Elaine Campbell; grand aunt, Willie Mae Windham; uncles, Albert C. Brown, Jr., and Columbus Christopher Shaw, Jr.; grand uncle, Albert Lee Hart; and cousin-like a brother, Kevin Eugene Hart.

MR. NOVIUS FLEURIJEAN
Mr. Novius Fleurijean passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, Pastor Jude Charles officiating. Interment will follow in Wimauma Com- munity Cemetery.
Mr. Novius was born Sep- tember 19, 1957, in La Gonâve, Haiti to the late Ms. Florimise Charles and Mr. Elvius Fleuri- jean. He moved to the United States 40 years ago and began to live in his legacy. He was a very dedicated father and was very family oriented. He loved to make people laugh with his witty jokes and comments, fol- lowed by his big, beautiful smile.
He was always a helpful man and was willing to lend a helping hand. He started his working career in the fields and then went on to become a foreman for RIPA & ASSOCI- ATES.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, and his eldest brother, Lucien Flerijean.
He leaves to cherish his memories: with a devoted spouse, Patricia Fleurijean; three children, Nokens Fleuri- jean (Stacey), Shawntavia Fleurijean, and Patrick Fleuri- jean; two grandchildren, Niquelle and Kayden Fleuri- jean; three brothers, Jacques Fleuryjean, Cerifleur Lazar, and Amirold Lazar; 2 sisters, Fleurita Fleurijean and Maunette Lazar Saintil; mother-in-law, Inell Berrien; father-in-law, Robert Berrien, Sr.; a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

MRS. ANNIE LAURA HAWKINS
Mrs. Annie Laura Hawkins of Tampa, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 North 30th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Superin- tendent Charles Davis, Pastor, Officiating.
Mrs. Hawkins was born on June 18, 1935, in Troy, Ala- bama to General Grant and Versie Mae Graham Caldwell. She was a resident of Tampa for 62 years. She was an em- ployee of Wright’s Gourmet and retired from Lincoln Properties.
Mrs. Hawkins was a loving and devoted mother to her five biological children, five stepchildren and granddaugh- ter that she raised as her own. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a faithful and dedi- cated member of College Hill Church of God in Christ and was the Coordinator of the College Hill COGIC Food and Clothes Pantry. Mrs. Hawkins was a joy to be around and al- ways willing to help those in need.
