Dr. Belinda Noah Is A Candidate For Circuit Court Judge In The 13th Judicial Circuit
DR. BELINDA NOAH ...Candidate For Circuit Court Judge
The Committee to Elect Dr. Belinda Noah an- nounces that Dr. Noah is a Hillsborough County Circuit Court Judge candidate.
Now, more than ever, it is vital to elect judges who gen- uinely reflect the values and diversity of the people they serve, judges with diverse backgrounds, experience, and perspectives, because doing so promotes greater trust and
confidence in our legal sys- tem.
On Election Day, August 23, 2022, through Vote By Mail, or during Early Voting between August 8-21, 2022, the committee humbly asks that you vote for Dr. Be- linda Noah for Circuit Court Judge in the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida.
Dr. Noah was born in Florida to American parents of African American descent. She is the fifth of eight chil- dren. Dr. Noah's interest in a legal career started when she was eight years old. Dr. Noah's father, a World War 2 Purple Heart recipient and Buffalo Soldier who lost his leg in a work-related acci-
dent, recruited her to write letters to various agencies on his behalf.
Currently, in addition to running for Circuit Court Judge, Dr. Belinda Noah serves as a legal advisor, par- ticipates in numerous com- munity activities, and is licensed to practice law in Florida and Ghana. After graduating from the Univer- sity of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree, she received her Juris Doctor de- gree from Florida State Uni- versity College of Law and her Master of Laws and Doctor of Juridical Science degrees from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, she has studied at Harvard Uni-
versity, Temple University, and the Ghana University School of Law.
Nationally and interna- tionally, Dr. Noah repre- sents clients in civil and criminal matters in state, fed- eral, and international courts. Also, Dr. Noah taught Envi- ronmental and Health Law as an Adjunct Law Professor at Widener University School of Law and Stetson University College of Law. In addition, she taught Environmental Law at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Ad- ministration.
Moreover, Dr. Noah has served as an Assistant Gen- eral Counsel and Senior At- torney with the State of Florida's Department of
Banking and Finance, the State of Florida's Department of Business Regulation, and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
In addition to practicing law, she is the author of nu- merous articles and books, including International Pharmaceutical and Biotech- nology Law: TRIPS and Patentable Subject Matter in the Global Marketplace and The Black Seminoles.
Dr. Noah practices law before the Florida Courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeal for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, and the Re- public of Ghana Courts.
