  AIKENS
MRS. IRENE ELIZABETH FERRELL HARRIS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Irene Elizabeth Ferrell Harris of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, will be held on Satur- day, June 22nd, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor, Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Irene Elizabeth Ferrell Har- ris was born to the late Grady E. Ferrell, Sr. and Gussie White Ferrell Patten on April 17, 1936 in Statesboro, Georgia. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System, completing her secondary edu- cation as a PROUD senior of Middleton Senior High School, graduating class of 1954. She continued her education in early childhood and was awarded a Child Development Associate Credential.
As a child, Irene attended First Baptist Church of College Hill under the leadership of the late Reverend J. C. Robinson with her mother and siblings. She later became a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late W. H. Gordon, where she was an active member of the Young Adult Choir.
Later in life she united in marriage to her childhood sweetheart, Willie Harris, Sr. and to this union their families blended together in love. She then returned to First Baptist Church of College Hill under the leadership of late Reverend Abraham Brown, rededicating her life to Christ. She was an ac- tive member of Sunday School, Senior Adult Choir, Jolly Sen- iors Ministry, Eva Huggins Mis- sion Ministry and Women’s Planning Council. She was also affiliated with several organiza- tions that include, The Hostess Club, an alumna of Middleton Senior High School Class of 1954, Benevolence/Corre- sponding Secretary, Village
Ten, Charmettes, Inc. of Hills- borough County, Fantastic Unique Natives (FUN) Red Haters, Brandon Christian Women Ministry and Brandon Hospital Health to You.
She was employed with Colony Shop for a short time, later becoming employed with Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners Head Start Program. She taught early education and retired after thirty years of service. She en- joyed traveling, shopping, dress- ing, reading and sewing, but most of all she loved to gather with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Grady E. Ferrell, Sr.; mother, Gussie Ferrell Pat- ten; brother, Grady E. Ferrell, Jr.; and sister, Martha F. Lara.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her devoted hus- band, Willie Harris, Sr.; chil- dren, Paula George (Willie, Sr.), Tyrone and Pamela Ferrell, Debra Bliss (Michael, Sr.), Da- phyne Daniels, (Keith, I), Willie Harris, Jr. (Shelia), Linda Williams, Felicia Prather (James), Sabrina Bell (Paul) and adopted daughter, Belinda Ses- sions; grandchildren, Kory (Kelly), Caleb, Chinua and Willie George, Jr. (Tonya), Tia and Natasha Osterbur, Jerome Fer- rell (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Figueroa, Aaron (Kisha) and Bryson Porter, Michael, Jr. (La- toya) and Nakeshia Bliss, Keith Daniels, II, Amard, Cedric, Mau- rice and Chanae Harris (Kevin), Charmaine Lawson; great- grandchildren, Harrison, Ethan, Amani, Zemia, Terrance, Isabel, Jayden, Laila, Bryson, Jr., Max- imus, Michael, III, Joey, Adri- anna and Armoe; sisters-in-law, Ruby Williams, Verdell Vickers and JoAnn Harris; nieces, Lecinda and Jolynn Harris, San- dra and Toni Rosson, Cynthia Suttle, Cheryl and Darlene Vick- ers, LaTasha Rosemond (Larry), Michelle Haynes, Monica McNeil (Geno); nephews, Jose’ Lara (Melissa), Grady E. The visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of College Hill on Friday, June 21st, from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Satur- day for the service.

MRS. WILLIE MAE IDELA WILLIAMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Willie Mae Idela Williams of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, will be held on Sat- urday, June 22nd, 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Bro. Daryl Flintroy, of- ficiating. The interment will fol- low.
Mrs. Willie Mae Williams was born on February 23, 1948 in Tampa, Florida, to the late Robert Nance, Sr. and Carrie Bell Nance. She was a member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ. Willie Mae was employed with Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office in Brandon for 34 years. She enjoyed reading and watching old western shows.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nance, Sr.; mother, Carrie Bell Nance; and brothers, Robert Nance, Jr. and Alfonso Nance.
She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories with: her husband, Ocie Williams, Jr.; children, LaRhonda McCoy (Kenneth McCoy), Reginald Williams, Kimberly Troia (Charles Troia) and Tovia Gibbs (Addil Gibbs); step-daughter, Lanise Harris; grandchildren, Rico Moore (Tasha Stevens), De- Mario Moore, LaShambre Moore, TyRon Williams, Darian Williams, Jaylen Williams, Ahmoi Gibbs, Ahmir Gibbs, Aria Troia, Marcus Harris and De- quan Harris; great- grandchil- dren, Jayden Moore, Jayda Moore, Jason Moore, Jamal Johnson, Jaylen Cooper and Na- talia Jones; brother, Leon Nance (Annette Nance); sister, Wilhe- menia Nance-Garrison (Roo- sevelt Garrison); special friends, Hillsborough County Tax Collec- tor’s/Brandon friends, Elizabeth Rodrigez and Preston San- chious, Gayland and Shantell Nance; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.

MRS. ROSALEE JEANETTE CHEATHAM-WOOD
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Rosalee Jeanette Cheatham-Wood of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 11 a. m. at The Rock Church of God by Faith, 4323 E. Henry Ave., Pas- tor, Ruling Elder James E. Williams, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rosalee Jeanette Cheatham- Wood was born June 24, 1943, in Tampa, Florida, to Reuben and Henrietta Mitchell. She attended Member of Kingdom of Church of God, where she received her Missionary Certificate, Pente- costal Church of God of Jesus Christ, where she also received her Ministry diploma in her ear- lier years.
She was a member of First- Born Church of the Living God. Rosalee had a passion for her Bible and could quote any scrip- ture word, she loved the Lord. She enjoyed cooking and was de- lighted in having family come visit.
She was preceded in death by: her parents.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her hus- band, James Wood; children, Gregory Mitchell (Sharon), Charles Cheatham, Glenda Williams (Leon) and Reginald Cheatham; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Mitchell and Henry Lee Campbell; a host of loving relatives and close friends that will miss her.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June21st from5to7p.m.The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the serv- ice.

MRS. KATIE MAE LUMMUS
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Katie Mae Lummus, who passed away on June 12, 2019, will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Highland M. B. Church 3410 East North Street, Tampa, FL 33610, at 1 p. m., with the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Julius Wynn, of- ficiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Katie Mae Lummus was born to Richard and Viola Cotton. She attended public schools in Hills- borough County. She was mar- ried for 35 years to Albert James Lummus, who preceded her in death. She was a faithful mem- ber of Highland MB Church, and former member of the Jubilee Chorus and #1 Usher Board. She served faithfully on the Dea- coness Board until her demise.
She was preceded in death by: her 1 daughter, Vanessa Wil- son; 2 grandchildren, Sherica Wilson and Larry Cotten, Jr.; 1 sister, and 1 nephew.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: loving sons, Larry Cotten, Sr. and Willie (Byrd) Ghoston; 1 daughter, Jacquelyn Marshall and hus- band, Clarence; devoted daugh- ter-in-law, Jean Cotten; raised and motherly to Keke Wilson, Jaydah Metesil, Zh’Niah Brown, and CJ Key, 12 grandchildren: Eva Cotten, Sonja Jones and hus- band, Vincent, Eric Ghoston, Tony Cotten, Shemetria Harris and husband, Joe, Kasla Cotten- Parkinson and husband, Collins, Katie Young and husband, OG, Richard Cotten and wife, Sonja, Arkesha Cotten, Darrell Randall, Lisa Wiggins and Kayla Cotten; 4 nieces, Reginnia Britt, Kathy Cotton, Bernestine Cotton, and Shelia Cotton; 3 nephews, Bobby Cotton, Sr. and wife, Aletha, Reginald Cotton and wife, Linda, and Leroy James; cousins: Jessie Starks, Liona Coates, Richard Cotton, and Thelma Cotton; a host of family and friends.
