Man Shot To Death Outside Strip Club
Suspect Snatches Wallet, Cell Phone From Victim
This is a surveillance photo of a man suspected of snatch- ing a woman’s wallet and cell phone.
On September 30th at 6:14 a. m., Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s deputies reported that a woman was waiting in line at the 2K Express, 1140 West Fletcher Avenue, when a Black male snatched her wallet and cell phone from her hands.
The suspect fled on foot, and the victim’s cell phone was re- covered outside the store. The wallet was never found.
The suspect is described as a Black male 26-to-32 years old, 5’6” to 5’*’ tall, weighing be- tween 155 to 170 pounds. His head was clean shaven and he has a black goatee. He also had white medical tape wrapped around his left hand.
Shoplifting Suspect Sought
At 5:15 a. m. Sunday, Tampa Police officers were called to 1715 North 50th Street, the Playpen Gentlemen’s Club, for a shooting.
Police said Jermaine Fai- son, 32, was sitting in a car when another vehicle ap- proached. A passenger in the second vehicle got out and fired at least one shot at Faison.
Officers responded and ren- dered first aid to Faison until Tampa Fire Rescue arrived, and he was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Investigators said the shoot- ing may have been drug re- lated, and the only description given of the suspect vehicle is that it was possibly black.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on September 29th at 8:53 a.m., a Black male entered the Target at 11627 West Hillsborough Avenue. He selected a pair of PlayStation controllers, a Sony headset and an Xbox 360 and left the store without paying for the items. He was seen leaving the parking lot in a green SUV.

Trio Living In Alleged Drug House Facing Several Charges
CINTON COOPER, LESLIE COOPER, AND TERRANCE JONES
Plant High School senior, Lamar Gilbert, 18, was ar- rested Thursday on campus on charges of robbery and posses- sion of a firearm.
Police said Gilbert was a suspect in a robbery that oc- curred Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. inside a parking garage at 5437 Bay Center Drive. The victims described the weapon used in the robbery as a BB gun.
Gilbert is being held in jail with his bail set at $50,000.
School official said Gilbert was not in possession of a firearm on campus at the time of his arrest.
Man Wanted For
On Thursday evening, two people accused of running a drug house were arrested on several charges by St. Peters- burg Police at their Coquina Key home. A third person is facing drug possession charges.
Police said during a search of 4175 Whiting Drive South- east, detectives found a 9mm firearm, more than half an ounce of crack cocaine, 11 grams of marijuana, 12 grams of hydromorphone, and 5 grams each of clonazapam and alprazolam.
Cinton Cooper, 38, Leslie Cooper, 37, and Terrance Jones, 27 were all booked into jail. The Coopers each face a charge of operating a drug house.
Cinton Cooper also faces charges of selling, manufactur-
ing, delivering or possessing cocaine, sale or delivery of crack, possession of crack, pos- session of hydromorphone with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver and possession of al- prazolam and marijuana. His bail has been set at $196,300.
Leslie Cooper also was charged with selling, manufac- turing, delivering or possessing cocaine, sale or delivery of crack, possession of crack, pos- session of hydromorhne with intent to sell, possession of crack with intent to sell and possession of alprazolam and marijuana. Her bail was set at $190,150.
Jones is facing charges of possession of cocaine and mar- ijuana, and possession of clon- azapam with intent to sell. His bail is set at $15,150.

... Fired for excessive force
A veteran police officer with the Zephyrhills Police Depart- ment was terminated last Thursday. The termination came about after an Internal Affairs investigation revealed thatheusedastungunona suspect who was not resisting.
Last month, former Officer Tim Claussen responded to a home to investigate a misde- meanor retail theft. The follow- ing day, a supervisor discovered that Claussen had allegedly used his taser while conducting a review of reports, officials said.
Claussen was placed on ad- ministrative leave on Septem- ber 11th, and an Internal Affairs investigation was opened. As a result of the in-

vestigation, Sgt. Reginald Roberts determined that Claussen had used excessive and unjustified force on Sep- tember 9th when he arrested 42-year-old Lester Brown and charged him with resisting arrest without violence. Claussen reportedly used the taser on Brown although Brown was not physically re- sisting the arrest.
According to police, Juan Francisco Carrion-Sa- lomon was wanted by Tampa Police in connection with a stab- bing that took place at the West Tampa Social Club, 2102 N. Himes Avenue, on July 8th.
Carrion-Salomon was ac- cused of stabbing the victim sev- eral times with a large kitchen knife, causing life-threatening injuries. He then fled the scene.
He was arrested on Septem- ber 30th, without incident and was booked into the Travis County Sheriff’s Office Jail. An anonymous tip provided police with the information pertaining to his whereabouts.
Carrion-Salomon was wanted for attempted second- degree murder and use of a weapon in an attempted mur- der. He also had an outstanding warrant issued by the Florida Department of Corrections for Violation of Probation,
