Ministry Project Leader Helps People Plan For The Future
Sheraraka Davis was born at Tampa General Hos- pital 50-years ago, and in 2005, she answered the Lord’s calling to the ministry.
“After getting understand- ing of my new found life, and understanding that the Lord wants us to consider the poor, I knew I was doing the right thing.
“Since that time, I have been a seeker of God’s will for my life, and I think it’s sup- posed to be used as a vessel to fulfill His great commission. I have worked in several min- istries and volunteered for others.”
Ms. Davis said she’s vol- unteered to serve in her church, and she’s passionate about the people gaining knowledge, and wisdom of the Lord so they also may be used by the Lord to win millions of loss souls to His kingdom.
“The main endeavor of “Faith and Promises Life Challenges,” is to become a fa- cilitator to provide transi- tional housing, education and training, as well as classes in health, dental, job opportuni- ties, and workshops and sem- inars to empower the participants to be rehabili- tated into society and desire a better future for themselves and their offspring.
“Anyone who participates in our program will b given 3 months to complete their pro- gram, and that will include all benefits plus a customized re- habilitation program with the utilization of the web of sup- port that will be designed and

made available based on an individuals’ particular sce- nario, needs and potential.
“Our vision is to provide a safe haven for everyone and their family, teach them the word of God in a practical way, so that they can apply Godly principles and learned skills to be equipped to suc- cessfully be reintegrated into society with a new perspective of how to face life’s chal- lenges.”
Ms. Davis said their first objective at Faith and Prom- ises Life Challenges is to build a community of 200 dwellings specifically catered to single women and their children and/or grandchildren in a safe and loving transitional home environment who have been victims of domestic vio- lence, substance abuse, preg- nancy out of wedlock or due to sexual violation, abortion trauma, loss of income due to job loss, death of a provider, divorce, veterans without benefit, and homeless with the desire to excel.
