West Tampa Groups Prepare For Next Step In CRA
Beginning Monday, several community groups and organ- izations in West Tampa will be releasing an agenda and schedule to discuss the future of West Tampa, the CRA, and the relocation of residents from the North Boulevard Homes Public Housing Com- plex.
Each group will be sending out notices of pending meet- ings and meeting places, and agendas and speakers will al- ready be selected.
Each meeting will be done in the form of public forums as input from the community will be vital before the selection of the committee that will over- see the CRA.
Effort Underway To Establish A West Tampa Substance Abuse Center
It is important that every- one in West Tampa attend the meeting scheduled for 12:30 p. m., Monday, June 29th at the West Tampa Library.
Among the important items of discussion will be a substance abuse facility com- ing to West Tampa.
Representatives from DACCO will be attending this meeting, and will be open to all suggestions and statistical in- formation from the various community groups.
During the Monday meet- ing, individuals will be given 2 minutes to speak or ask ques- tions.
