Local Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker And Author Hosts Meet And Greet And Book Signing
     Local entrepreneur, mentor, motivational speaker and au- thor, Morgan “Mo” Nelson will appear at The Holiday Inn Express in Tampa for a Meet and Greet and Signing of his new book, “Detour: The Wrong Turn That Changed My Life Forever”, on Saturday January 23rd, 2021. This im- pactful community event will take place from 2 – 4:30 p. m.
Morgan, a native of East Tampa, hopes attendees leave the event feeling energized, motivated and inspired to reach their dreams. This event
will be not only a book signing, but an experience that will shift the atmosphere and empower all who attend.
In his book, “Detour: The Wrong Turn That Changed My Life Forever,” he explores topics ranging from decision making and consequences, to redemption and starting over. Through his book, he hopes to inspire, encourage and moti- vate the youth and others to persevere through challenging times and keep going.

Morgan encourages young men around the Tampa Bay Area to not let their circum- stances determine their future and to take hold of their lives while they still can. Through his writing, he invites readers into his world and mind by journeying through vivid expe- riences that have helped shape him into the man he is today.
The event will take place in- side of The Holiday Inn Ex- press, 8610 Elm Fair Blvd.,
Tampa 33610. This event is open to the public and there will be light refreshments, a live DJ and an exclusive raffle.

   Meet And Greet For CRA Action Plan
Last month, there was a meet and greet at Ragan Park. The purpose was for the launch of the Strategic Action Master Plan for the East Tampa Community Redevelopment Area (ETCRA). The aim of the plan is to create a plan of action and investment that enhances quality of life and builds community in East Tampa.

   Members of the Middleton High Band provided musical enter- tainment.
Lt. Ben Brown of the Tampa Police Department and Kinnette Scallo of Code Enforcement were in attendance.
The CRA Manager, Ed John- son was in attendance.
Representing IDEA Public Schools were: Latoya McGhee, Sala Sims, and Christa Thomas. Sheeba West represented GAI Consult- ants.
