Temple Terrace Police are in- vestigating a report of a fifth grade student at Lewis Elementary al- legedly trying to poison a class- mate’s water with bleach.
Police also discovered that the student had an alleged list of stu- dents who had been targeted.
Police are trying to discover if the student, a girl, intentionally tried to poison a classmate’s water bottle.
Police said they believe the fifth grader intentionally brought bleach to school, and poured it into a classmate’s water bottle. In- vestigators reported that the student told her teacher the water tasted funny, but since the girl thought the bottle was sealed, the teacher told the student to throw it away.
Days later, another student re- vealed the drink had been spiked with bleach.
Officials said the mother of one of the students, Ashley Brown, along with other parents received a vague text from Lewis Elemen- tary Principal, Delilah Robeiro.
