Prince’s 911 Caller Speaks Out After Autopsy Revealed
Prince’s 911 caller was Andrew Kornfeld. He had arrived a day before his father, renowned drug addiction doctor, Dr. Howard Kornfeld to care for Prince. Prince died of an overdose before he could get there.
Toni Braxton Reveals She Is Dating Birdman
Toni Braxton and Birdman
It looks like R&B legend Toni Braxton may have confirmed that she is in fact dating Bird- man.
Sources in attendance caught Toni and Birdman getting pretty cozy backstage at Toni’s Grammy Park performance in Brooklyn, and Friday night Toni brought out Birdman at her performance at the Fox The- ater in Atlanta.
Birdman and Toni have known each other for a while, and they even collaborated on Bidman’s song “Baby You Can Do It.” She even jokingly told her fans to put some “respeck” on his name last night.
There is also a rumor that Birdman will be appearing on Braxton Family Values, and that Birdman recently gave Toni a new record deal.
Snoop Dogg’s New Album Called ‘Cool Aid’
SNOOP DOGG
Snoop Dogg is paying hom- age to a popular favorite as his new album is called Cool Aid.
The Doggfather went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the project, which is slated for a July 1 release. He ex- plains why the album is titled with a "C" and not a "K" like the drink.
"I'm cool, you know and I'm laid back," he says of the album title.
The Long Beach legend denies any affiliation with Beyonce's LEMONADE album, which is also named after a drink.
Besides rebuilding his Doggy Style Records, Snoop Dogg is ready to release his next solo LP, more than 20 years after the re- lease of the label's namesake Doggy Style. The new album is slated to drop July 1, according to an Instagram post and Face- book live session that Snoop Dogg hosted today (May 23).
The Long Beach legend re- leased his "Late Nights" single on 4/20.
Spike Lee Hosts Birthday Party For The Late Prince
A day after an autopsy report confirmed that Prince died of an accidental opioid overdose, Andrew Kornfeld, the man who placed the tragic 911 call from Paisley Park April 21st and the son of a physician tasked at the last minute with helping the singer combat his addiction, has opened up about the incident in a CNN op-ed.
"As I told the 911 dispatcher on April 21, those on the scene were distraught, which was why I was the one to place the call," Kornfeld wrote. "But what happened has made me think, long and hard, about what steps we must take to prevent such entirely unneces- sary loss of life."
On Thursday, the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Prince suf- fered an accidental overdose
from the opioid Fentanyl, a narcotic used to treat severe pain. Kornfeld, the son of ad- diction specialist Howard Kornfeld, MD, then detailed his own struggles with unimaginable pain as a result of his fight with Crohn's Dis- ease, noting that he could re- late to what Prince dealt with and why the artist felt like he needed con stant medication.
"His death was a tragedy be- yond words. He was an inspi- ration to so many, and in the brief time I spent in Min- nesota, I saw just how good a friend he was to those closest to him," Kornfeld wrote. "In the weeks that have passed since April 21, I have thought about what might have pro- duced a different outcome. What if his troubles could have been addressed effectively, and much sooner?"
Prince, who died of a drug overdose in April, would have been 58 on June 7. Even though the Purple One is gone, director Spike Lee spent Sunday making sure he's not forgotten by throwing a birth- day bash for the legendary artist in Brooklyn that brought out a huge crowd of people dressed in purple
block party carrying a gold
Prince symbol-shaped guitar and leading a drum line that played on Prince- themed bass drums.
The party also included Sway Calloway serving as host, a prayer by the Rev- erend Al Sharpton, and ap- pearances by Rosie Perez and Knicks legend Earl "The Pearl" Monroe.
Lee himself entered the

Dope directed by Rick Fa- muyiwa, will almost certainly become a black cult classic, much like another one of his previous films, Brown Sugar.
Warner Bros. has decided to give him a shot at the DC Ex- tended Universe (DCEU), an- nouncing Famuyiwa as the man behind the lens for their silver screen installment of The Flash. Although the script is based on a composite of vi- sions that previous writer and directors had for the project, after exiting due to differences of creative opinion, DC and WB decided that the Dope di- rector would be the best choice to get the job done.
Dope captured the essence of what it means to be a young black person that identifies themselves as a member of a niche subculture

verse as Famuyiwa builds the world around Ezra Miller as The Flash. Hope- fully it allows the characters to really come to life inside very familiar and native surround- ings that will connect with the fans.
The Flash is slated to hit the- aters on March 16th, 2018.
Picked For ‘The Flash’
Back in 2013, just before Future became the huge su- perstar he is today, he was forced to take a DNA test that ultimately proved that he was the father of Jessica Smith’s 10-year-old son.
Future struck 2 child sup- port agreements in 2013 and 2014. His music checks were also garnished for back child support.
Now the two are in court again.
According to theJasmine- BRAND.com, Jessica Smith is going back for more child support and accusing the rap-
per of neglecting his son com- pletely.
She says that Future has failed to maintain a meaning- ful, loving relationship with their now 14-year-old. Due to Future's absence as a father, Smith says their son suffers from emotional and behav- ioral issues.
She also claims that in the last year and a half, Future's career has obviously skyrock- eted, therefore he's bringing in a lot more money than he was in 2014.
Future has three other chil- dren.
