City of Tampa Parks & Recreation are hosting Safe Summer 2016. Come out and join us for a fun-filled day as we kick off the sum- mer in a positive way at Al Barnes Jr. Park, 2902 N. 32nd Street, Tampa, 33605, on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m.–3p.m.

Extended Gratitude
A special thanks is sent to the many people, who un-
selfishly gave to help Ms. Dorothy Langston, the grandmother whose home burned down on Mother’s Day.
The First Baptist Church of Progress Village donated children clothing, household items, bedding, bedroom furniture, televisions, and large bags of canned goods.
Thanks is also extended to Brandi Jeffrey, who do- nated bags of girls and women clothing.
I was able to purchase $65 of personal items for the fe- males and a case of diapers and baby products for the babies.
Ms. Langston is so grateful to all who con- tributed and says thank you!
