Did LeBron James toy with a Donald Trump sup- porter on purpose Saturday?
LeBron was seen tossing a towel into the stands dur- ing Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.
A fan sitting with some excellent seats put his hands up as if James was going to throw a towel to him. In-
DeMarcus Cousins ‘Very Open’
To Returning
To Pelicans
DEMARCUS COUSINS
New Orleans Pelicans cen- ter DeMarcus Cousins is headed to free agency for the first time, but it seems that he’s enjoyed his time where he is.
Cousins said that he would be “very open” to stay- ing in New Orleans if circum- stances allow it.
“Would I like to go back to New Orleans? I’m very open to that,” Cousins told Marc J. Spears of the Undefeated. “I love what we created. I love what was created after I went down. I would love to be part of it. But I’m going to do what’s best for me, and I feel they’ll do the same.”
Cousins went down in January after tearing his Achilles, and the Pelicans weren’t really much worse off without him. They were 27-21 at the time of his injury and went 21-13 the rest of the way, not including a playoff sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers. They may just save their money and focus on building around Anthony Davis in- stead of further exploring the “twin towers” angle.

stead, James threw it clearly past the fan.
The fan was wearing an mistakable red “Make Amer- ica Great Again” hat, which indicates support for Presi- dent Trump. Before the last presidential election, James made clear his sup- port for Hillary Clinton. He has also expressed his disdain for Trump on mul- tiple occasions since. It wouldn’t be surprising if he did that on purpose.

UCLA Player Involved In
Shoplifting Scandal
Declares For NBA Draft
Cody Riley may be off to the pros without ever playing in an actual college game.
Riley, the UCLA freshman who was involved in the noto- rious shoplifting scandal in China last year, has declared for the NBA draft. Riley’s name is on a list of 236 players who filed as early entry candi- dates, which was released by the NBA earlier in the day.
The 20-year-old Riley, a 6- foot-10 forward, appeared in just one exhibition game for the Bruins last season before he was involved in the overseas incident along with fellow freshmen LiAngelo Ball and Jalen Hill. Riley and Hill were ultimately suspended by the school for the remainder of the season as a result. Mean- while, Ball, who instead chose to withdraw from UCLA, is now playing professionally in

Lithuania and is also listed as an early entry candidate for the draft. Hill’s status for the fu- ture remains unclear.
Riley is not believed to have hired an agent, meaning that he could still potentially return to school if he with- draws his name from draft consideration by May 30. However, Riley would proba- bly be stuck on the depth chart behind this incoming star for- ward should he return to UCLA.
