Ella was born on April 21, 1945, in Worth County, Georgia to the late Abel Polite and Ella Ever- son. She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Grace; daughter, Yolanda Richardson; brothers, Jessie Po- lite, Aaron Polite, and Genie Po- lite; sisters, Louise Everton, Lillie Wiley, Willa Barnes, Leona Hicks, Ruby Mae White, Christine Wright, and Mildred Polite Howard.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Jessica, Nicole, Corey (Terry), and Timmy (Lydia); grandchildren, Shel- tiana, Reshae, Beyonce, Willie, Timothy, Timya, Yolanda, Jasier, Joe, Corey, Tieyada, and Kewan; sister, Dorothy Jean Thorpe; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

MR. WILLIE D. BROWN
Funeral service for Mr. Willie D. Brown, who passed away on July 24, 2022, will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2:00 p. m. at Allen Temple A. M. E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Dr. Glenn Dames, Jr., officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av., Tampa, Florida 33610. Military Honors will be conducted by the U. S. Army Honor Guards.
Willie Brown was born Feb- ruary 11, 1949 in Tampa FL. He accepted Christ at an early age at St. Luke AME Church in Tampa, FL. He attended the schools in Hillsborough County and gradu- ated from Middleton High School. He received an Associate degree in Pre-Police and Science Administration.
He was a longtime welder at the Tampa Ship Yard until he be- came disabled due to cancer. He was known for his raspy deep voice which some people could not understand. For many years, he was the yard man to many people, and no matter what time of day you would see him, he would always be carry- ing around a cup of coffee. Many years ago, he would hunt and fish. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could.
He fought in the Vietnam War in 1968 and was an Ameri- can Hero. He entered into the United States Army in 1967 and he completed Basic Combat Training, Basic Airborne Train- ing, Vietnam Training, CBR Training, Code of Conduct, and Geneva Convention. While in the Army he also received a Na- tional Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Viet-
MRS. EDITH B. (JORDAN) McCALLA
A home going celebration for Mrs. Edith B. (Jordan) McCalla, who passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, will be held Satur- day, July 30, 2022, at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Avenue (Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way), Tampa, FL 33610, Pastor Dwight Newkirk, with Pastor Tony Parker, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Edith B. (Jordan) Mc- Calla was born on February 5, 1937 to General Washington, Sr. and Nora Belle (Womack) Jor- dan. A native of Eufaula, Ala- bama, she resided in Tampa, Florida for over 60 years. She was employed for more than 30 years at the Brian Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she retired. She loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, now known as St. John Cathe- dral, under the leadership of the late Bishop Eddie Newkirk until her health started declining. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite
