Rapper Reportedly Killed After Issuing Challenge On Instagram
Police Investigate Murder In Thonotosassa
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder that took place in the 12000 block of Thonotosassa Road early Tuesday morning.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigat- ing a shooting that left one man dead outside of the IQ Apartments, 12708 Bruce B Downs Boulevard in Tampa. The shooting took place Fri- day afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
Family members identi- fied the victim as 27-year-old Ari Williams, an up and coming rapper known as Rollie Bands in a news arti- cle.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, police received the report of a shooting involving an adult man. The shooting took place in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Deputies said, the sus- pects had driven away from the scene in an unknown di- rection. At this time, the shooting does not appear

random, and the suspects and victim possibly know each other.
The victim was trans- ported to a local hospital, where despite receiving life- saving measures, he later died.
Rollie Bands
According to Social Media, the victim was an as-
piring Tampa rapper known as “Rollie Bands.”
Prior to the shooting, Rollie Bands reportedly challenged his enemies on Instagram to try and kill him and advertised his address.
The post stated, “A lot of these n-ggas know where I live at fr. I sleep in peace. If a n-gga want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 minutes.”
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office would not confirm that the victim was the rapper known as Rollie Bands.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a homicide investigation in Thonotosassa.
On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, just before 8 a.m., deputies responded to the 12000 block of Thonotosassa Road to the report of a per- son down. When deputies ar- rived, they found a deceased
adult man with upper body trauma.
This is an ongoing inves- tigation and no additional in- formation has been released.

Police Seek Help In Identifying Suspects In Catalytic Converter Theft
SUSPECT #1
The Tampa Police Depart- ment is investigating the theft automotive equipment taken on July 16, 2022.
The theft took place at 10:16 a.m. Two unidentified suspects unlawfully entered a business property in the 4400 block of W. Osborne Ave.
Surveillance video cap- tured the suspects arriving in a dark or black sedan, inten- tionally jumping the privacy

fence while carrying a saw. The video also shows the suspects jumping back over the fence with a catalytic con- vert they had just cut from a company truck. A third sus- pect waited outside of the fence to receive the stolen
catalytic converter.

shorts, blue sandals, a gold watch, and a gold ring on his right hand.
The second suspect is de- scribed as a Black man with a thin build, a thin mustache, fade on sides, taller on the top. He was wearing a white tank top, beige shorts, and white sandals.
The third suspect was de- scribed as a Black man, bald, and wearing red shorts, and a black t-shirt.
