Birdman Buys Into ‘Mixed Gendered’ Basketball League
Cash Money Records co- founder Bryan “Birdman” has bought into a “mixed gen- der basketball” league with the purchase of the New Orleans franchise. The news was an- nounced by James Scott, the CEO/founder of the Global Mixed Gender Basketball (GMGB) League.
The team – called The Cash Money Millionaires – are now looking for men and women to be to play in New Orleans, ages 18 and up.
There are 28 positions (14 men and 14 women players) open with tryouts on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

New details surrounding Nelsan Ellis' death have been revealed.
The 39-year-old True Blood actor was pronounced dead Saturday due to "complica- tions with heart failure."
On Monday, Ellis' family issued a statement via his manager, Emily Gerson Saines, in an effort to help other people who are strug- gling with the same addic- tions he faced.
"Nelsan's father has bravely agreed for me to share the circumstances of Nelsan's heart failure," she said. "Nelsan has suffered with drug and alcohol abuse for years. After many stints in rehab, Nelsan attempted to withdraw from alcohol on his own. According to his father, during his withdrawal from alcohol he had a blood infec-
