Ms. Yaflayon An'Yea Jones does not boast about the things that she does in the community for others, but she lets you know she enjoys mak- ing history. So, being the first in Hillsborough County to open a mobile fingerprinting and notary service falls in the line of making history, and making noise.
Born September 8, 1971 to Eligha Del Le Santos and Erie Marie Johnson, Ms. Jones, better known as ‘Ms. Tootie,’ was a military brat. Her father was a Master Ser- geant in the U. S. Air Force, so she has traveled the world, in- cluding going to Africa as a child.
Ms. Jones moved to Florida in May of 1990.
She has a BSW in Social Work that she earned from Armstead University, Hender- son, NV, and several other trainings through her fields of work. She has 17 years of work- ing for the Department of Ju- venile Justice; she has worked with several judges and cur- rently works for the Federal Government.
As she prepares to launch a new business venture, Ms. Tootie, who is now 50 years old, wants to work for herself.
“I wanted to try a different business venture - one that not many African-Americans have ventured into,” she said. That was the beginning of Tampa Tru Mobile Fingerprinting & Notary Service, LLC.
Ms. Tootie has experience in fingerprinting, from FNIRA, FDLE, Child Fingerprinting, Background Check, anything to do with ink fingerprinting and 20 years of notary serv- ices. The 6 weeks of training included more than 80 hours of study.
Her service is available to businesses and individuals. It is a mobile service which means she can come to your lo- cation. “And, I fly from state to state, for a negotiable fee,” she adds.
Ms. Tootie can be found at trufingerprints.com, or 813-551-0004 Tampa Tru Mobile Fingerprinting & No- tary Services LLC
She’s continuing to get ad- ditional training to become a Notary Signing Agent.
She’s the mother of an adult son.
