in Brandon Monday after-
noon before making off
with an undis-
closed amount of cash.
Deputies said the man walked into the Truist Bank lo- cated along Causeway Boule- vard in Brandon Monday and handed the teller a note de- manding cash. After the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the man walked out towards the back of the bank where he fled.
Deputies described the sus- pect as a white male wearing a red, white, and blue Columbia hat.

Quarrel Leads To Woman Being Charged In Shooting At Motel

A 36-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a shooting. The incident took place Tuesday.
Towhyia McAffee has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the Clearwater Police Department, McAffee and another couple were at a motel on Gulf-To-Bay Blvd., when they became engaged in a quarrel. She is alleged to have shot the man before fleeing the scene.
The shooting was report- edly captured on video. Police did not say what condition the man was in.
Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a murder. The murder took place on August 14, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m. a homicide occurred in the 7400 block of Mohawk Ave.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area and discovered an adult man deceased, with upper body trauma.
Through investigative means, detectives were able to determine that Willie Frank Hunter, 43, a home- less man, is linked to the mur- der.
Hunter is wanted for first degree premeditated murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a ve- hicle.
Police made the discovery when they responded to a suspicious vehicle in a neigh- borhood.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to the call Sunday shortly after midnight at the intersection of Lazy River Dr. and East Regnas Ave. When officers arrived, they located
a vehicle running in the road- way with the lights off.
Due to the dark tint they were unable to see into the vehicle. When they opened the car door, they located a deceased Black man with upper body trauma.
Detectives are currently working to develop addi- tional leads in the case. The investigation is continuing.

On Gandy Bridge
A Tampa man, Oddami Luis Silvia Stevens, 20, was arrested early Sunday morning after being caught racing on the Gandy Bridge, troopers said.
The Florida Highway Pa- trol said Stevens was seen heading east on the Gandy Bridge, side-by-side with an- other vehicle.
After being pulled over, Silvia Stevens told authori- ties he was trying to race the other vehicle, the FHP said. According to an affidavit, Sil- via Stevens and his rival racer went as fast as 132 mph in a 55-mph zone.
At around the same time at the same location, troopers also arrested another man for highway racing on Gandy

Elliot Soler, 35, of Orlando was seen participating in a burnout on Gandy Boulevard east of San Fernando Drive.
Stevens was booked on a charge for racing on highway.
