The Weeknd And Beyonce’s Music Make 50 Shades Sizzle More
BEYONCE And THE WEEKND
The music of artists The Weeknd and Beyonce are part of the overall flavor mixed in with the sizzle of last week- end’s hottest movie, ’50 Shades Of Grey’.
The soundtrack which fea- tures The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Sia and Jessie Ware and is currently tracking for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 this week?
In any case, most are al- ready obsessed with The Weeknd’s “Earned It.”
It didn’t really catch music critics off guard to learn The Weeknd has a song on the the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack. However, his choice of a beat on “Earned It" is being touted as much different from his typical thriller of electronic production.
This was an interesting move for the Toronto singer as his typical, highly explicit and seductive subject matter was toned down for the 50 Shades of Grey audience.
Beyonce, like The Weeknd has 2 tracks on the soundtrack. Queen Bey slowed down ‘Crazy In Love’ so much that you had to look at the label to make sure it was the same song.
The director of Fifty Shades said that Beyonce embodies all that a strong woman should be, and the song fit the movie.
Selma’s Oscar Nod Is No Consolation For Not Receiving More Nominations
During All-Star Weekend
The good news at Sunday’s Oscars is Selma, Ava DuVer- nay’s tense, gut- wrenching, beautifully crafted film about Dr. Martin Luther King’s efforts to or- ganize a protest in Selma, Ala- bama, has been nominated in the Academy Awards’ Best Pic- ture category. The bad news: DuVernay was not nomi- nated for a Best Director Oscar.
The Best Picture nod takes into account the film as a whole — the production of the movie. The producers are the real winners in that category, and they’re the folks who go up on stage to collect the little

Bobby Brown Tells Media To Stop Talking To Unauthorized Folks About Daughter
BOBBY BROWN And BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN
It appears Bobby Brown is having problems controlling certain family members from blabbing to the press about Bobbi Kristina Brown, so he’s asking the press to refrain talking to them.
The reality of relatives speaking to reporters without Brown’s permission about his comatose daughter’s condi- tion is borne out in conflicting reports about her current sta- tus and future.
“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family. The integrity of the events that led to the hospital- ization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompro- mised,” Brown’s legal coun- sel, Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, said in a statement to Extra.
“Various members of the family have provided media in- terviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowl-
edge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hos- pital has not communicated with them,” the statement said.
Bobbi Kristina In Accident Days Before Near Drowning
Other news of Bobbi Kristina’s life has been com- ing out. Now, according to re- ports Bobbi Kris was involved in a car accident just days before she was found un- responsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31 that sent the driver of the other vehicle and her pas- senger to the hospital.
According to ABC News, on Jan. 27, BK was driving her Jeep with her friend Danyela Da Silva Bradley as the pas- senger when Bobbi “lost con- trol of her Jeep” and swerved into the lane with on-coming traffic that was going in the op- posite direction, colliding with a Ford Taurus. The reports states the driver of the Taurus, Russell Eckerman, and BK’s passenger Bradley were both taken to the hospital from injuries sustained from the crash.
Eckerman’s injuries are grave, as he still remains in the hospital. Roswell, GA police say the accident is still under investigation.
