Austin Rivers Offers Honest But Obvious Take On Game 3 Against Warriors
AUSTIN RIVERS
The Houston Rockets have found themselves in a signifi- cant hole against the Golden State Warriors after their loss in Game 2 Tuesday night, and Austin Rivers and his team- mates know that the same re- sult in Game 3 could signal the unofficial end to their season.
After Golden State hung on to win 115-109 on Tuesday, Rivers called Game 3 a “must-win.”
As Rivers alluded to, that is obvious. Coming back from two games down against the defending champs is going to be difficult enough, but going down 3-0 would be almost im- possible to overcome.
Pete Carroll Matched DK Metcalf By Going Shirtless In Interview
DK METCALF
There was a lot of skin in the room when DK Metcalf came in for his pre-draft interview with the Seattle Seahawks.
A scout convinced Metcalf to come shirtless to his inter- view with the team. So guess what Pete Carroll did? The Seahawks coach took off his shirt too.
Metcalf’s incredible physique was all the buzz be- fore the draft, as were his mea- surables and 40-time.
Ultimately, the pre-draft hype surrounding him did not carry over to the actual draft. Metcalf was taken by Seattle late in the second round, No. 64 overall.
Vince Carter Makes
   Dre Greenlaw For Saving
It Officially Official:
Daughter After She Was
'I'm Coming Back'
Roofied At College Party
For A 22nd Season
Former Arkansas Univer- sity linebacker Dre Green- law made his NFL dreams come true when he was drafted in the fifth round by the San Francisco 49ers on April 27. After the draft, a man recounted a time when Greenlaw saved his daugh- ter’s life from an instance of possible sexual assault.
In a Twitter thread, Gerry Dales said his daughter was a student at Arkansas at the same time as Greenlaw.
According to the thread, his daughter was attending a col- lege party when someone slipped a drug into her drink,

causing her to become inca- pacitated.
Then when the man tried to whisk Dales’ daughter away, Greenlaw stepped in and stopped him.
“‘She's not going any- where,’” Greenlaw said ac- cording to Dales’ tweet.
This past summer, Vince Carter said he was “90- something percent” certain he would retire at season’s end, but when the 42-year-old’s first year as the Atlanta Hawks’ veteran mentor came to a close, he changed his tune: “I’m going to prepare as if I’m coming back, and we’ll go from there, but I do want to play another year.”
Now, the eight-time NBA All-Star has made it officially official.
“I’m coming back,” he told teammate Kent Bazemore on their “Winging It” podcast.
Asked if he will stay in At- lanta, he added, “I would like to. We’ll see what happens.”
Carter has played 21 sea- sons for eight different teams, the last two with the Hawks and Sacramento Kings as an honorary assistant coach and

12th man for rebuilding lot- tery teams — a role he has em- braced in the late stages of a Hall of Fame career.
Carter played this past season on a veteran minimum contract for $2.39 million. He averaged 7.4 points on 38.9 percent from 3-point range and 2.6 rebounds in 17.5 min- utes over 76 games, all but nine of which came as a re- serve.
  Draymond Green Nearing
 Automatic Suspension For
Playoff Technical Fouls
Draymond Green does not have many weaknesses as a player on the court, but technical fouls is one of them.
Green was called for a technical foul during the sec- ond half of Tuesday’s Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets. He received the call as part of double tech- nical fouls called by referee Ed Malloy for a scrap be- tween him and Nene.
The double technicals were called instantly and seemed weak.
That gives Green four technical fouls for the play- offs. Players receive an auto-

matic 1-game suspension when they reach seven techni- cal foul calls in a single post- season. The Warriors still have the rest of this series plus the conference finals and NBA Finals to go. If Green does not get this technical foul re- scinded, he won’t have much wiggle room for techs moving forward.
