     Middleton High Alumni To Meet May 4th
 The Middleton High School Alumni Associ- ation will hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11 a. m., at the Tampa Police Department District 3 Office, 3808 N. 22nd Street. The meeting is open to all former Middleton High School students and support- ers.
Shown here is Mrs. Fontaine London Marion, who was “Miss Middleton” for the Class of 1970. Mrs. Marion was one of the 12 Miss Middleton, Homecoming Kings & Queens who were honored April 27th at the Miss Middle- tons, Homecoming Kings & Queens Scholarship Ball, held at the Marriott Westshore Hotel. Over 250 alumni and guests attended the spectacular formal affair. Phan Opeyi Boston and Fred Hearns were chair and co-chair for the event.
Other committee chairs, co-chairs and assis- tants were: Alumni Association President Lu- vator Nelson, Patricia Cooper, Jackie Dupree, Calvin Simmons, Yvonne Dou- glas, Woodrow Simmons, Nicole Don- nell, Albertine Joyner, Apolonia Mendoza, Vicki Sabree, Gary Ellerson, Denese James and Carol Jarrett.
Also making the event successful were: Ralph Alderman of the Marriott Westshore Hotel, the Florida Sentinel-Bulletin, WTMP Radio’s The Cole and the Cure, Connie Aboleda, Pastor Charles Hill, Tonya La-
Reese, Passion Productions (Fashion Show), DJ Randal C, James Christian Cole, James E. Cole, Denese James, Henry (Shake) Washington, and Sol Davis Print- ing.
