AIKENS
MS. WILMA GAIL SHERMAN
A Memorial Service for Ms. Wilma Gail Sherman of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, was held on Wednesday, April 6th at 6:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
Ms. Wilma Sherman was born on April 17, 1958, in Tampa, Florida, to the late par- ents, Troy Sherman, Sr., and Freddie Sherman. Some of her hobbies included participation in gardening, knitting, travel- ing, and watching movies.
She was a graduate of Hills- borough High School, class of 1976. She retired from the City of Tampa after 20 plus years of service.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brothers, Robert Sherman, Sr., and Troy Sherman, Jr.
Wilma leaves behind chil- dren: Tiffany Borders (Walter) and Tony Monroe; grandson, Walter Borders, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Wilson, Carolyn Owens and Helen Johnson; brother, Mark Sherman (Monika); aunt, Luvenia Crum; nieces, Sherna Heyward (Richard), Marquita Morgan (Stanley), Sharese Wiley, Yolanda Sherman, Kat- rina Dent (Dmarcus), and San- dra Carter; nephews, Edward Wilson, Jr., Demetrious Wilson (Denitra), Robert Sherman, Jr., and Barry Brown (Shondra), and a host of cousins and friends.
Family and friends met on Wednesday evening, April 6, 6:00 p.m. for the service at the funeral home.

she was not able to attend Mt. Olive M.B. Church, Tampa, she continued to be faithful to her church. Mother Janet’s desire was to see that everyone was saved.
She loved her family. She was affectionately known as, “Grandma Jenny,” Queen “Bee,” Big “Q,” Mama “Q,” and every- body’s Grand-Mama.
Her prior employment en- tailed various housekeeping as- signments; Morrison’s Food Service at the University of South Florida, dietary supervisor at University Community Hospital, and Morrison/Piccadilly. Her work experience expanded over 60+ years.
Mother Janet was preceded in death by: husband, Donald Quat- tlebaum, Sr.; sons, Donald Quat- tlebaum, Jr.; and baby, Roy; brothers, Howard Stroman, Jr., Herbert Stroman, John (Lott) Stroman, James (Buck) Stroman, Henry Stroman; and one sister, Malinda Walker.
She leaves to cherish precious memories with: her children, Dr. Lena Shipp, (Reverend Ron), Pa- tricia Garvin (Lit), Robert Quat- tlebaum; adopted son, Michael Neal, (Belinda); grandchildren, Darlene York, Latisha Miller, (Hollis), Contrilla York, Ricky Shipp, Christopher Shipp, (Katu- rah), Keon Washington; a host of great, and great, great grandchil- dren; sisters, Martha Holland,Tampa, Dorothy Belle; brother, Larry Stroman, George- town, GA; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and a multitude of special friends and family; and Amy Walker Jackson, Johnnie Kelley, and family, Flossie Sallet, (Al), Pastor Faye Nelson, Myra Newman, (Herb), George Don- nell, neighbor, and Florida State Representative, the Honorable Dianne Hart, (niece).
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Saturday, April 9th, from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home for the service.

Mr. Renard Cornelius Brown, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 9th, at 12 p. m. at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 8119 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, with Reverend Eugene Garnett, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery. MASKS NOT RE- QUIRED, BUT RECOM- MENDED. Renard was born on January 5, 1993, in Tampa, Florida, as the eldest child born to Okeya N. Harris and the late Renard Cor- nelius Brown, Sr. He was bap- tized at an early age at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. He attended Freedom High School. Renard enjoyed spending time with his son and siblings. He also enjoyed watching professional football, basketball, and hockey. His fa- vorite NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved dressing and was a fashionista and a shoe fa- natic. Renard could put anything together and made it look amaz-
ing!
He was preceded in death by
his son, Arlo N. Brown; father, Renard C. Brown, Sr.; sister, Raenesha Brown; grandfather, Otis Harris, Jr.; great grandpar- ents, Prince and Eloyce Stone; Willie Walker; George Brown, Mildred Santana; Theodore and Laura Mae Williams; uncles, Earl Oates, Steve Stone, Shaukee Slater, Richard Brooks, Anthony Holmes and Abner Ford; aunts, Regina Wesley, Yvonne Davis, Cheron Scott.

MOTHER JANET STROMAN QUATTLEBAUM
A Celebration of Life for Mother Janet Stroman Quattle- baum, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away March 28, 2022, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9th, at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Ron Shipp, officiating. The interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mother Janet Stroman Quat- tlebaum was born March 21st, 1936 in Springfield, South Car- olina, to the late Howard Stro- man, Sr., and Martha Jones Stroman. She was joined in mat- rimony to the late Donald Quat- tlebaum, Sr. They were blessed with 5 children of whom 2 are de- ceased.
Mother Janet was educated in the Orangeburg County, South Carolina Schools. During those years, she was a great basketball player.
Mother Janet relocated to Tampa, Florida, in 1961. Upon her arrival, she attended First Baptist Church of College Hill. Later, she joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. C.P. Epps; continued under Rev- erend Michael White. Mother Janet attended church until her illness. She began to watch live stream Worship Service every Sunday with St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Palmetto, Florida, under the leadership of Reverend Ron Shipp. Although,
