MRS. ELEANOR DELORES HITIE-LARKINS
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Eleanor Delores Hitie- Larkins will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd. Tampa, Florida, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Officiating and Rev. Dewayne Sanders, Sr., Presid- ing.
Mrs. Eleanor Delores Hitie- Larkins was born on December 24, 1945, in Daytona Beach, FL to the parentage of Earl John- son, Sr., and Evelyn Jones- Johnson. She was the 2nd of 11 children born to this union. She grew up in Daytona Beach, FL and attended Allen Chapel AME Church during her childhood. She was educated in the Volusia County School System and a graduate of Campbell Street High School (Class of 1963).
Eleanor moved to Tampa, FL, where she started her career as a Medical Assistant and a Phlebotomist. She encountered and impacted so many lives working for various organiza- tions such as St. Elizabeth Hos- pital, Charter Hospital, Tampa General Hospital and Genesis Healthcare.
On June 28, 1975, she mar- ried the love of her life, Mr. Willie C. Larkins, in Daytona Beach, FL, She has been a faith- ful and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage for over 40 years, where she was active in the High-Noon Prayer Band, sang in the Williams Jubilee Choir, was a Team Leader for SSOIL (Se- niors Stepping Out In Love) Ministry and a valued member
of the 60 & Over Sunday School Class.
She enjoyed baking pastries, sewing and most of all enjoying time with family.
Eleanor transitioned into her heavenly garments on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Tampa Gen- eral Hospital.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Johnson Sr. and Evelyn Jones-Johnson; sis- ters, Eartha Mae Johnson, Eyvonne Johnson, Elise Williams and Edna Murphy; and mother-in-law, Arabell Wiggins.
She leaves behind to cherish her legacy of love and memo- ries with her devoted husband of 47 years, Mr. Willie C. Larkins, Tampa, FL; loving daughter, Ms. Brenda Hitie-Smith, Jack- sonville, FL; brother, Earl John- son, Jr., (Audrey) of Daytona Beach, FL; 5 sisters, Elaine Wise (Ralph), Miramar, FL, Eardine Wells (William), Holly Hill, FL, Earnestine Brown, Evelyn Chinn and Elvira Williams all of Day- tona Beach, FL; 2 sisters-in-law, Annie Larkins, Winter Haven, FL and Geneva Banks, Grand Is- land, FL; godson, Minister Regi- nald Wise (Cynthia), Raleigh, NC; like a son, Julian Massey of Tampa, FL; special nieces, Shan- non Thompson (Jamari, Sr.), Killeen, TX, and Andrea Mitchell, Jacksonville, FL, spe- cial cousins, Yama Gooding, Tampa, FL, Catherine Bowman, West Palm Beach, FL; Gary Goodwin, Tallahassee, FL, Oscar Simmons (Margaret), Savannah, GA, and Shirley Hall, Palm Coast, FL; friends, Wynetta Matthews (Willie), Land O’ Lakes, FL, Dr. Berthenya “Bert” Dunbar (Robert), Riverview, FL, Karen Taylor, Alice McCarty (James), Yolanda Hills, Cathy Galloway- Jacobs (Rolando), Valerie Burke, and Shirley Levine (Willie) all of Tampa, FL; host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

MR. BILL D. JOHNSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Bill D. Johnson will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Shanell Keefer, Officiating/Eulogist. There will be a viewing on Satur- day April 9, 2022, at the Wilson Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Mr. Bill D. Johnson was born on April 26, 1956, in Tampa, Florida, to the parentage of Frankie Ruth and William John- son.
He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Hillsborough High School, class of 1974. Bill loved playing cards, dominos and watching football.
Bill was employed with The City of Tampa and United Porta Potty Services for many years be- fore his health begin to decline in 2017.
On March 29th, 2022 Bill D. Johnson heard the Master’s Call and closed his eyes and took his final rest.
Bill was preceded in death by: his parents Frankie and William Johnson; brother, Sgt. Major Willie Lee Williams and grand- mother, Callie Smith.

MR. ELIJAH ‘JUNIOR’ KEATON, JR.
Funeral Service for Mr. Elijah Keaton, Jr., “Junior,” who passed away, will be held Saturday, April 9th, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL, with Elder Gary L Williams, Offi- ciating. Interment will follow.
A Time to be born....Elijah Keaton Jr., was born December 26, 1940, in Jefferson County, FL to the union of Elijah Keaton, Sr., and Katherine Robinson Keaton. “Junior,” as he was affectionately called, was raised in a family of love, with his siblings.
A Time to build up....He was educated in Jefferson County and attended the schools there includ- ing Howard Academy High School. Junior worked diligently from a child as a Laborer. He was a hard worker all of his life from Jefferson County to Tampa, FL. In 2006, he retired from Waste Man- agement Systems as Supervisor. Junior’s skills and talents were working on and repairing cars. His love of racing cars was his pas- sion. As an avid sports fan, he en- joyed all sports including, chess, cards and checkers just to name a few.
A Time to love....It was at an early age when he met Barbara Williams of Jefferson County, FL. Junior and Barbie together formed a lovely union that stood the test of time. They were blessed with beautiful children who cared for them without a moment’s hes- itation. As his health began to take its toll on him, that same love given by him was returned to him through their care giving.
A Time to die....In the morning of April 1st, Elijah Keaton, Jr., was finished with this house of clay. At the Master’s call, his soul took flight. Every restless tossing ended and now he is safely home in God’s care forever.
A Time to mourn....Junior is survived by: Barbara; Alvin, “Luke,” Bridget, Chris, Michael, (Rebecca), Alexys (Horace); Maya and Riley; brothers, Abraham (Josephine), Aaron (Mae), Larry, Sr., Fred, Tyrone (Twanya) and Kenneth (Aurial) Keaton; sisters, Mary and Martha Keaton; aunt, Lula Mae Keaton; Claretha Moore, Virginia Hall, and Geneva Mur- phy; friends, Sylvester McBride, Reggie Preston, and Art Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

MR. JAMES DAMIEN ‘SCOOTER’ MOORE
A Homegoing Service for Mr. James Damien “Scooter” Moore, who passed away on March 22, 2022, will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ex- citing Faith Alive Church, 5705 E. 32nd Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Pas- tor Antonio Hawkins with Minis- ter Ernest James Green, of Eufaula, Alabama, Officiating. In- terment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida.
James “Scooter” Moore was born on May 2, 1973, to the parentage of Carolyn Moore and James L. Baker in Tampa, Florida.
“Scooter” attended the local schools in Hillsborough County. He absolutely adored his family. Mr. Moore loved listening to music. He was a highly motivated business oriented individual that never met a stranger and would bring joy and laughter to those around him.
“Scooter” was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Sallie Moore and Eva (Giney) Baker; mother, Carolyn Moore; aunt, Cathy Glenn; uncles, Giney Baker, Jr., Michael Glenn and special cousin, Mickey Glenn.
He leaves to cherish memo- ries of him with: his children, Ciara Moore, Jayzerian Moore, Jamesina Moore and Deonte Green; grandchildren, Parris and A’miraa Creary, Rayshawn Welch, Tyleai James and Nazeah Green; father, James L.
