For several years, the Tampa Hillsborough County Urban League was a mainstay in the community. However, in 2006, it closed over budget is- sues.
Now, more than a dozen years later, a group is trying to revive the historic institution. Stan Gray, a former Marine and Tampa businessman is leading the charge to revive the Tampa Hillsborough Urban League.
Working in conjunction with several others, the group has planned a series of Town Hall Meetings to discuss the issue.
The meetings will take place in various locations dur- ing January and February. All
