New Year's resolutions don't have to be big to be mighty. Small changes can yield big mind, body and spirit transformations. Try these mini resolutions!
1Make More Phone Calls
Sure, sending a text message is quick, easy and convenient but when was the last time you actually heard a loved ones voice? In 2019, make a vow to make more phone calls to the people you care about. It can be 5 minutes or a whole hour but the time talking will be so amazing.
2Say “Yes” To Doing Something New
Take a cue from Shonda Rhimes and have your own year of yes. Shake your head in affirmation to doing the things that scare you. Always thought about going skydiving, say "yes!" Want to take a spin class, say "yes!" Want to a3sk a man out, say "yes!" Make this year all about not holding back.
Do More DIY
Doing something all your own is magically fulfilling. Want to add some color to your living room? Think knitting a blanket is a great idea? Do. It. Yourself. Sis.
4Don’t Be Afraid To Say “No”
Here comes a time when it's perfect to draw the line. Say no to the te- dious things in your life that no longer bring you joy. Cut out the toxic and proceed to twirl on your haters.
5Save More, Spend Less
Set aside $5 each week and by the end of the year your coins shall be abundant and blessed. Skip out on spending money on lunch and transfer those funds in your savings account instead. Cook your own breakfast and do the same thing. The little things will help grow your funds and it'll totally be worth it.
It’s that time of the year again...cold and flu season. The weather gets cooler and the sniffles begin. Ugh! Who has time for that? Check out this list of natural remedies you can keep in your home to build your immune system, stop the sniffles and soothe your sore throat.

The berries are anti-bacter- ial, anti-viral, anti-microbial and pack a powerful antioxidant punch. It can also be used as a preventative measure. Home- made elderberry syrup is the best thing to have on hand. It has also been proven to protect you during air travel.
GARLIC (FRESH) (ALIUM SATIVUM):

To make sure it can fight what ails you, use this only when sick and not every day, unless you are having an intes- tinal fungal challenge.
GINGER (FRESH) (ZINGIBER OFFICINALE) :
It is spicy and warming. It is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and a great antioxi- dant. It is also used for nausea and indigestion. For fresh ginger tea, cut 2-6 slices of the fresh gin- ger root and simmer in the pot. Try not to boil the ginger, just simmer to get it hot enough for tea. Sweeten with honey and add lemon. This is best used at the first sign of chills or the sniffles.
