R. Kelly Has Reportedly 'Parted Ways' With His Label, RCA/Sony
According to several re- ports, it's been confirmed that R. Kelly and his label, RCA/Sony, have amicably ended their business rela- tionship. Just days ago, it was reported that his record label shelved all pending music from the Pied Piper due to his ongoing criminal investigations.
The Chicago native was heavily scrutinized because of the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series, and it seemed new details emerge daily about his disturbing dealings with underage girls, past and present.
After the airing of the docu-series, #MuteRKelly protests increased outside of the Sony offices in New York City, and several of his for-

mer collaborators pulled their music off of streaming platforms.
When Jive was dissolved, his contract was handed over
to RCA. Prior to him being put on hiatus, Robert was set to produce two more al- bums to fulfill his contrac- tual obligations. Days ago, a banner flew over the Sony offices in Culver City, Cali- fornia, that read, "RCA/Sony: Drop Sexual Predator R. Kelly." Earlier, a former intern of Epic Records, also owned by Sony Music, spoke out about her sexual relationship with Robert that allegedly began when she was 16 years old.
Neither Robert nor RCA/Sony have yet to re- lease a public statement, but Robert has been removed from the RCA roster on their website. We will keep you updated as the story devel- ops.
