WILSON
MRS. ROSA M. HOPKINS
Homegoing service for Mrs. Rosa M. Hopkins will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019, at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathe- dral, 3401 Bishop Eddie Newkirk Way, Tampa, Florida (3401 E. 25th Ave.), Senior-Pas- tor Dwight Newkirk, officiating with Pastor Tony Parker, Sr., eulogist. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Rosa M. Hopkins, 81, a loving wife, mother, grand- mother, daughter and sister, passed away into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on January 19, 2019. She was born April 2, 1937 to the late Rev. Raymond and Hannah Junious. She was joined in holy matri- mony to the late Vanester Hop- kins in 1958.
Rosa confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of St. John Cathedral, Tampa. She was a member of Martha Dar- rigo Lodge No. 375, Order of Eastern Star in Tampa.
Rosa was a native of Jeffer- son County and a resident of Tampa, for over 60 years. She attended and gradu- ated from Howard Academy in Monticello, FL - Class of 1955. During that time, she also at- tended Beauty Culture School at FAMU High, Tallahassee, FL, where she obtained her cosme- tology license. She went on to further her education at Hills- borough Junior College and Hillsborough Community Col- lege in 1971. She was a self-em- ployed beautician for more
than 60 years in Tampa. Loving, humble, caring, gen-
tle and kind are just a few adjec- tives describing Rosa. She lived, she loved and she was loved. Her life reflected her faith in Jesus Christ and she devoted her life to helping those who crossed her path.
Her family was her greatest joy and passion.
Rosa was preceded in death by: her sister, Julia Pittman; brothers Raymond, Adam, the Rev. Dilworth, Harry and Dosie Junious.
Rosa leaves to cherish pre- cious memories with three chil- dren, Eric G. Hopkins (LaFawn), Tara Hopkins-Rogers (Wayne) and Dwayne V. Hopkins, all of Tampa. With her union to her late husband, Vanester Hop- kins, she gained two daughters, Annette Howard-Lewis, Talla- hassee, FL and Dorothy Michel of Helena, AR; twelve grandchil- dren, Antwon Holmes, Destiny Hopkins, Omar Hopkins, Duan Hopkins, EJ Hopkins, Torri Rogers, Desmond Hopkins, Cerice Hopkins, Jaylen Hop- kins, Andre Howard, Decca Howard and Morgan Michel; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister, Doretha Lott of Rochester, NY; brother, Rev. Matthew Williams, Sr. (Mae), of Tallahassee, FL; brother-in-law, Deacon George W. Pittman, Sr. of Monticello, FL; sister-in-law, Carolyn Junious, Tallahassee, FL; first cousin and adopted sis- ter, Claretha Chestnut of Sara- sota, FL; a special niece, Kimberly Pittman-Moore; five goddaughters, Wanda “Gail” Broxie (sister, Yolonda “Kaye” Randolph), Linda Pippins Terry, Kimberly Gentle, Ranita Holland and Barbara “Boo” Jimerson; four godsons,
Charles Pippins, Jr., Tony Broxie, Kevin Beckam, II, Artice Holland; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and loving friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 25, 2019, at St. John Cathedral from 5 – 7 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MRS. SHARON CAINES JORDAN
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sharon Caines Jordan, who passed on January 22, 2019, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, Jan- uary 26, 2019, at Northside Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, with Rev. Ri- cardo Robinson, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sharon leaves to cherish pre- cious memories: with her de- voted husband, Bernard Jordan; daughter, Melessa Caines (Doug); mother, Audrey Caines; stepdaughters, Tesha Jordan and Lisa Hudson; stepsons, Nardo Jordan, Nate Watson (Gwen) and Chris Watson; grandchildren, Arionna, Donte, Nathan, Daja, Ja’Juan, Chris- tiona, Isaiah, Denario, Stephanie, Toric and Jai; 4 brothers, Joel Caines (Jackie), Leon Caines, Junior Caines and Alestaire Caines; uncles, Lester Caines (Shari), Gregory Caines and Eddie Jordan; aunts, Lovie James and Daisey Gaines; cousin, Leslie Caines; special friends, Lonnie, Carol, Laura and George; her babies, Missy, Nala and Moomoo (deceased); a host of sorrowful relatives and friends.
Mrs. Sharon Caines Jordan was born on October 2, 1972 in Georgetown, Guayana to the parentage of Kenneth Rajah and Audrey Caines. Mrs. Jordan was educated in the public schools of Georgetown, Guayana. Sharon enjoyed sewing, crafting, mak- ing gift baskets, decorating and taking care of her babies.
