Counselors Waiting To Assist With Final Days Of Affordable Care Act Process

Child Struck By Vehicle In Parking Lot
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently in- vestigating a traffic accident that left a child injured. The accident took place early Thursday.
According to police, a male child was in the parking lot of the Preserve at Mobbly Ray Apartments, 8210 Solano Bay Loop.
An unidentified driver re- portedly struck the child and he was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Police did not release the identity of the child or the driver of the vehicle. The in- vestigation is continuing and it is not known if charges are pending.
No additional information on the condition of the child was available at press time.

Driver Of Van Hit By Semi Dies
Investigators are continu- ing its investigation into an ac- cident that left a man dead. The accident occurred Monday night on I-275.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Harry F. Hobbs, of Cleve- land, Tennessee, was driving his semi tractor trailer south- bound on I-275. Hobbs was traveling in the center lane when for unknown reasons, a van, without lights on, stopped in the center lane in front of him.
Hobbs was unable to avoid the collision and struck the van, which burst into flames. After the collision, the 1987 Chevrolet Van traveled into the northbound lanes be- fore it came to a stop.
Hobbs was not injured. However, the driver of the van, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene.
No charges are pending in the case.
