Tom Brady Praised For His Accuracy By Bucs Teammates
Mackensie Alexander Arrested For Battery Amid Search For Missing Father
Tom Brady has never been known for having tremendous arm strength, but his accuracy is another story.
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers are getting a first-hand look at that this offseason, and apparently the six-time Super Bowl champion is liv- ing up to his reputation.
Brady’s teammates have been raving about his accu- racy in training camp. Scotty Miller, who has es- tablished a good rapport with Brady and is fighting for the No. 3 wide receiver spot, described the 43-year- old as “a technician.”
“He’s just so accurate.
He’s a technician,” Miller said, via ESPN’s Jenna Laine. “Every ball is a per- fect spiral and exactly where you want it as a receiver ... . He always knows where all the zones are, where all the openings are gonna be within the defense. So if you can be on the same page with him, you’ll find ways to get open and get the ball.”
Tight end OJ Howard shared similar thoughts.
“He really does a good job of putting the ball in a spot where you have the opportu- nity to make plays and run after the catch,” Howard said. “It allows the defender not to make a play on it.”
MACKENSIE ALEXANDER
It was reported that Alexander’s father, Jean Odney Alexandre, went on a berry-picking trip with another man. The 65-year- old apparently went for a trip on the prairie and was

Alexander was arrested for battery after returning home to Florida.
Bill Belichick Has High Praise For Cam Newton
CAM NEWTON
Bill Belichick offered some high praise for Cam Newton during a recent in- terview.
Belichick joined “The Rich Eisen Show” for a phone interview last Monday and was asked about Newton. The New England Patriots head coach said how impressed he has been with the effort the quarterback has given since joining the team.
“He’s an extremely hard- working player,” Belichick said of Newton. “(He’s a) first-guy in, last-one out type of guy. He’s really studied hard and has spent a lot of extra time trying to learn our of- fense, our communication, our calls, nomenclature and so forth. I’ve been very impressed with that. He’s done a good job of picking it up. He’s a very skilled athlete. We’re just working through it day by day. We have a long way to go, but we’re taking steps and we’ve got a very competitive compe- tition at a very competitive po- sition at the quarterback spot. It will be interesting to see how everybody does.”
left behind. Alexander’s arrest allegedly stemmed from him confronting the man who left his father be- hind.
The Collier County Sher- iff’s Office, the same depart- ment that arrested Alexander on one count of battery, announced on Mon- day night that Alexandre had been reported missing. Police were searching for him with helicopters, K9 teams, four-wheelers and help from the Florida Wildlife Commission.
Mackensie, 26, is from Immokalee, Fla. He was a second-round pick by the Vikings in 2016 and signed with Cincinnati in the offsea- son.
     Cardinals Make Budda
Baker Highest-Paid
Safety In NFL History
Budda Baker has played just three seasons in the NFL, and the Arizona Cardinals safety is already the highest-paid player in league history at his position.
The Cardinals have signed Baker to a four-year, $59 million contract exten- sion.
The $14.75 million aver- age annual salary makes him the highest-paid safety in NFL history. Baker’s agent confirmed to ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the deal is done.
Baker has quickly be- come one of the best strong safeties in football. His 104 solo tackles last season were

more than any other player in the NFL. Baker ranked fourth in the league with 147 total tackles. He also has 3.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in three seasons.
