Abundant Life Church Partners With USF Gospel Choir To Spread The Word Through Song
In such a time as this, so- ciety will tell us our young adults are irresponsible, dis- respectful, and have no desire to serve the true and living God. But we beg to differ.
Abundant Life Enrich- ment Church (“ALEC”) is ex- cited to embark on a momentous ministry collabo- ration with The Gospel Choir at USF, a collegiate group bringing inspiration to many through Christian songs. This dynamic group defy the odds set by society by positively using their God-given talents all while ensuring their grades are up to par in a quest to be- come productive citizens.

significant collaboration. “We are elated to minister on this platform regularly as the Gospel Choir at USF. It has been a long desire of ours for God’s message to resonate

through the songs we sing in a powerful worship service. We give God all the glory for this opportunity and desire to fulfill His divine assignment in a excellent manner.”
Founded in the early 1970s, The Gospel Choir at USF has served as a ministry pillar on the campus of USF using their voices to encour- age, inspire, and uplift those they minister to through song. They strive to make certain their lifestyles mirror the messages they portray through song. They aspire to please God in all avenues of their life.
“We pray that as we are ministering and as we go about our daily lives, the God in us is evident and uncom- promised”, says the Gospel Choir at USF’s Vice President, Motomori Lewis.

ALEC was established with the mission to set a stan- dard for the world to follow. Their untraditional kingdom building efforts showcase their strong love for all peo- ple.
“We serve an intentional, never failing God. Divine les- sons and opportunities de- velop from each situation we encounter. It’s up to us to ac- cept the message. So when the opportunity to birth or rekin- dle an unashamed love for Christ among our young adults and others presented itself, we were obedient to the call,” says Pastor Ran- dolph.
The Gospel Choir at USF will minister through song each third Sunday at ALEC and you are invited to be a part of this remarkable move- ment.
MOTOMORI LEWIS ...USF Gospel Choir Vice President
“There is a true need to awaken a strong yearning for Christ in the hearts and minds of our younger genera- tion. The attack on our com- munities, families, and youth is stronger than ever. The enemy is fulfilling his promise to steal, kill, and destroy and we are sitting back accepting the pains he has erupted. But enough is enough...we are not going down without a fight. War has been declared and we must utilize effective re- cruiting tools which will assist in adding to our army.
“Therefore, our decision to collaborate with the Gospel Choir at USF was a no-brainer for they operate on a platform that is often untouched or overlooked by churches in our community. They embody unique fundamentals which demonstrate to other young adults that they too can serve God in spirit and in truth. Young, middle-aged, elderly, and in between...we’re casting the net.”
ALEC has begun its mis- sion to bridge the gap within the faith community with the Gospel Choir at USF as they currently serve as the praise and worship leaders each third Sunday during the 9:30 a. m. service. (This powerful collaboration has sparked at the peak of ALEC’s growth as thus ministry will debut its second worship service begin- ning at 11 a. m. this summer).
ALEC is located at 4701 E. Hanna Avenue Tampa, 33610. Transportation is available and arrangements can be made by phone at (813) 627-8400. Please visit ALEC’s Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages for further information on this life- changing ministry nestled in the East Tampa community.
“We serve the present age as diligent workers of the kingdom but there’s always room for more. Don’t neglect getting to know Him and the purpose you were intended to walk in. No one is exempt from death or the day of judg- ment, so we desire for all men to be saved. Come join us.”
