Shrimp & Company:
Seafood Restaurant Is Ybor City’s Best Kept Secret
SHRIMP AND COMPANY
BY LEON B. CREWS Sentinel Staff Writer
If there’s one thing you’ll find a lot of in Ybor City, it’s restaurants. Most of them are traditional and have been on 7th Avenue for decades. Others try to cater to a different demo- graphic with their specialty dishes.
There is one restaurant, however, that stands above them all, especially when it comes to seafood.
Shrimp and Company is located on the corner of 7th Av- enue and 22nd Street, and that automatically makes it conven- ient.
Accessible from either I-4 or the Selmon Expressway, Shrimp and Company is gaining quite a following in the area as word spreads about their great dishes.
The restaurant has a new owner and is also under new management, and although they continue to serve some of the same dishes as the previ- ous owners, their Mediter-
ranean culture gives them an entire new approach.
The chef has been cooking since his childhood and says it is something he truly enjoys, especially seafood.
The new owners said they have changed the way the food is prepared, and they hope to welcome back some old cus- tomers.
Shrimp and Company
is the premiere seafood restau- rant in Ybor City, and there’s always plenty of parking.
Since they have no storage, the food at Shrimp and Com- pany is prepared fresh every day.
The menu will be expand- ing, and the restaurant is open 7-days-a-week, from 10 a. m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

His Deliverance
Lord, You have aid to call upon You in the day of trou- ble and You will deliver us (Psalm 50:15). I call upon You now and ask that You would work deliverance in my husband’s life. Deliver him from anything that binds him. Bring him to a place of understanding where he can cry out to You for help. If the deliverance he prays for isn’t immedi- ate, keep him from discour- agement and help him to be confident that You have begun a good work in him and will complete it (Philip- pians 1:6). Give him the cer- tainty that even in his most hopeless sate, when he finds it impossible to change anything, You, Lord, can change every- thing.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliv- erer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. PSALM 18:2-3
