Jacob York recently launched Electric Republic Sports, which is a new sub- sidiary of his Electric Republic entertainment and manage- ment company.

Mike Tirico Heads To NBC
ESPN has found the man to replace Mike Tirico on "Monday Night Football."
Sean McDonough has been named the new play-by- play announcer for ESPN's flagship football broadcast, "Monday Night Football," the network announced on Monday. McDonough re- places Tirico who had called "MNF" games since 2006.
The news comes less than an hour after NBC Sports offi- cially announced what had been widely expected -- that he was joining the peacock network.
Tirico starts July 1 and will be covering an "array of high-profile properties" in- cluding "Sunday Night Foot- ball" and the Rio summer Olympics, according to NBC.
Tirico said in a conference call with reporters that the

McDonough's move to replace Tirico on "MNF" was also anticipated.
McDonough has been with ESPN since 2000 and covers college football, col- lege basketball, and Major League Baseball. He signed a contract extension with ESPN earlier this year.
JR Smith: ‘The Trade From New York To Cleveland, I Was Pissed Honestly’
JR Smith is an integral part of the Cleveland Cava- liers’ current championship run. But apparently, he wasn’t too pleased when he first heard he’d been traded to the Cavs in January of 2015.
In an interview with VICE Sports, Smith says of getting the news, “The trade from New York to Cleveland, I was pissed honestly.”
And even though he had his fair share of run-ins in the Big Apple, JR adds, of play- ing for the Knicks: “Every person that plays in the NBA should experience playing in New York at least once in your career. To play in the Mecca of basketball at the Garden every night, is proba- bly the greatest decision I’ve

ever made, to go to New York.”
He comments on his rela- tionship with Carmelo An- thony (“Melo is probably my all-time favorite person that I’ve been around consis- tently”) and his new teams chances of winning it all this year (“In my eyes, we’re going to win the Championship”) among other topics.
