PVT. CLARENCE GRANT, JR.
Mr. Clarence Grant, Jr. was born in Tampa, FL on April 8, 1954, to his loving parents, the Late Rev. Clarence and Sadie Lee Holmes-Grant, Sr.
He was preceded in death by: 3 sisters Rosita, Linda Faye, and Sundra Jean Grant-God- frey; 1 brother, Kenneth T. Grant, Sr.; nephew, James Jones, Sr.; niece, Sadie Jo Grant; and other aunts, uncles and family members.
Clarence accepted Christ at an early age. Clarence matricu- lated through school here in Hillsborough County: Lomax, N. B. Young, and graduated from Middleton High School in 1973. He joined the U. S. Army in 1974. Clarence was known for Outstanding Scholastic Honor and educational accom- plishments. He was a comic book guru (Captain Marvel). He was an avid Star Trek junkie. He loved and embraced olde school music, and noted by fam- ily and friends as our personal scholastic genius.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories: sisters, Carel Lee Grant, Elaine (Sonny) Grant, Yvonne Grant-Robinson, Bev- erly Grant-Days, Catherine, and Stephanie Grant; brother, Sammy (LaShon) Jackson, Sr.; aunts, Julia White and Dorothy Jean; uncle, Sam Holmes, nephews, Edward Lu, Michael, Anthony, Brooker Godfrey, Sgt. A Wake Service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019, at In- tegrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa 33605. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m. Interment will follow at a later date.

MR. MARK ANTONIO GOODS
Mr. Mark Antonio Goods passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019. Visitation will be held Fri- day,May31from5to8p.m.at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
Mr. Mark Antonio Goods was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida who was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mrs. Norma Jean Goods and Mr. William Goods; brother, Reginald Goods; grand- mother, Charlie Mae McGill; step- grandfather, Jerome McGill; grandfather, Theren Daniels; aunts, Judy Royal, Marie Daniels, and Shirley Daniels; and cousin, LeAndra Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three godsons, Curtis Rodgers, Joseph Harris and Marlon Dorsey; sister, Yolanda Scott; brother, Darius Washing- ton; a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.

MR. NATHANIEL EDWARDS
Mr. Nathaniel Edwards of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 1at11a.m.atNewSalemM.B. Church, 8525 N. 78th St. with Reverend Dr. Reginald R. Ed- wards, officiating Interment will be held Monday, June 3 at 12:30 p.m. at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
Nathaniel was a native of Ar- cadia, FL and a resident of Tampa since 1982. He was educated through the DeSoto County School System and was a 1950 graduate of Smith-Brown High School. Mr. Edwards enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country for 28 years. After his Honorable dis- charge, he worked for the Colum- bus Public Schools in the Schools Maintenance Department and Martin Marietta Company at MacDill Air Force Base.
Nathaniel professed his faith in Jesus Christ as a young man and began his Christian journey with St. John M. B. Church, Arca- dia, FL. He was a member of New Salem M. B. Church, where he served as an ordained Deacon, Usher and with Security until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Randolph Edwards and Eloise Everhart Edwards; daughter, Jacqueline Patricia- Marie Greer; brothers, Carey Ed- wards and Randolph Vincent Edwards; and sisters-in-law, Georgia Edwards and Inez Em- manuel.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his loving, caring, compas- sionate, caregiver, companion/wife, Julia B. Ed- wards; children, Cynthia Elaine Edwards, Adrienne Denise May- nard, Reverend Reginald Ramon Edwards, Sr. (LaTrell), and Corey Patrick-Maurice Edwards; grand- children, Selena Montese Wash- ington, Kimberly Monique Cobb (Antwan), Nathaniel Bjon Vin- son, Brittany LeAnn Evans, Ju- lian Thomas Maynard, Desiree Micole Smith, Malana DeLyne Greer, Brian Keith Maynard, Reginald Ramon Edwards, II, and Rhagen Ranise Edwards; 17 great-grandchildren; brother-in- law, Thomas Alfred Johnson (Mardine); nieces; Bettye Green (Richard), Andrea Campbell (John) and Kathelia Edwards Williams; godchildren, Leroy Wallace, Jr., Erica Pitts, Rev. MRS. STEFFIE D. HUNTER
Mrs. Steffie D. Hunter of Tampa, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 1 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Me- morial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Steffie D. Hunter was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, and was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Steffie spent her entire life caring for the ones she loved the most. She raised her children and was very active in the lives of her grand- children. “She Made It”!!!
She was preceded in death by: her parents, J. D. Sheffield and Ernestine Green Sheffield; and daughters, Deborah Hunter and Lakesha Hunter.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted husband of 42 years. Kenneth Hunter, Sr.; two sons, James Fields and wife, Toni Fields and Kenneth Hunter, Jr. and fiancé, April Williams; two daughters, Shareka Hunter and Stephanie Hunter; 8 granddaugh- ters, Kenna Hunter, Ahlea Hunter, Destiny Williams, Char- nae Webb, Da’Niya Collins, Khalia, Janice and Harmony Jackson; 12 grandsons, Donte Fields, Nigel Foxworth, Ontario Williams, Devontae Hunter, De- Andre Hunter, Kenneth Hunter, III, Adonnus Lovett, Jessie Mc- Cants, Jarvis McCants, Jontavi- ous Marshall, Isaac Jackson and Jermaine Sesler; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends

MRS. MINNIE M. THOMAS
Mrs. Minnie Myrle Glover Thomas of Tampa, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, June 1 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, with Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was a native of Marianna, Florida and a res- ident of Tampa for over 60 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, where she served proudly as a Sunday School Teacher and with the Pastor’s Aide, Greeter Ministry, Senior Mission and Choirs.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Cleo Glover and Mrs. Gessie Lee Hatten Hayes; and husband, King David Thomas, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Natalie Richardson and husband, Charles and King David Thomas, Jr.; granddaughter, Cheri Thomas (Christian Clouse); two grandsons; three brothers, Amos Hayes and wife, Julia, Mitchell Hayes and Morris Hayes (Valerie); sister, Phyllis Hayes; her closest first cousins, Cora H. Felton, Dorothy White and Gessie Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other sor- rowing relatives and close friends.
