Three-Day Greek Weekend Event Well Attended
The Greek Weekend Event was well attended by sororities and fraternities from all over the state. It began on Friday evening with a meet and greet at the Jazz House, on Saturday a picnic/barbecue was held on the grounds of the University of Tampa, and on Sunday, worship services were held at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. Meeting at the Jazz House for Greek Weekend were LaTonya Anderson, Marneese Mitchell, and Temika Kitchen.
Kimberly Blackmon and Tanya Batchelor-Judge came represent- ing Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority.

Delta Sigma Theta sisters at the picnic were: Dian Johnson, Qiana Boyd, Paulette Sutton, Edith Ran- dolph, Dora Mays, Alicia Howell-Banks, Leslie Brown, Doris Scott, Flora J. Scott, Chantelle Harrison, and Sherri Williams.
Wendy McGee and Rhonda Turnage had a great time.
Enjoying the picnic are the Sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority: Cynthia Crosby-Craig, Hosetta Cole- man, Joyce Swayer, Jackie Greaves, Beverly Bowden-Humbert, Laethia Sims, Elaine Bryant, Kisha Dick- erson, and Caroline Stewart.
Enjoying their Greek Weekend are Zeta Phi Beta sorority sisters and their brother of Phi Beta sigma fraternity: Raquel Tucker, Ola Wilson, Daryl Richardson, Anitra Carter, Shatysh Williams, Lee Daniel, Tramaine Whittey, Jefthah “Shabba” Fils-Aime, Blake Boatwright, Don Dew, and Tavarious Robinson.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity brothers, R. J. Nicks, Michael Mays, Carlos Dixon, and Darrell Clark.
Flashing the signs of their fraternity are Marlow Blair, Fred Rich, Travis Brooks, and Ben Gainer.
It’s time to eat as Dr. K. Cox and Jerry Stroud take over the grill.
