once she got back in the hospi- tal that her vital signs were good and it was their decision to readmit her," Blountstown Police Department chief Mark Mallory told Mallory added that Dawson had been arrested for disorderly con- duct and trespassing and that autopsy results should be re- leased Wednesday. Pam Bondi’s office has been called in to investigate the incident.
"The most reasonable thing to do is to let her sit there and be able to settle down until she felt well. Instead, she is forcibly removed and put in cuffs," Tallahassee attorney Daryl Parks, who is repre- senting Dawson's family, told the news service. "The early facts of this case should cause a great concern for everyone."
A local NAACP chapter held an emergency meeting on Tuesday and met with local leaders and members of Daw- son's family. Dale R. Landry, who is the regional vice president for the Florida State chapter of the NAACP, told AP that while he is glad that officers are getting in- volved in the investigation, he strongly believes that Daw- son's "death was due to negli- gence by the police department and hospital."

LAKEISHA HOLLOWAY LAS VEGAS --- Lakeisha
Holloway currently sits in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, her formal bail hearing was last Tuesday morning. She is on suicide watch. She is being held with- out bail and is expected to be charged with several felonies, including murder with a deadly weapon, after the 24- year-old mother reportedly drove onto a Las Vegas side- walk, killing one person—Jes- sica Valenzuela, 32—and injuring as many as 37 others. Her 3-year-old daughter was found in the backseat of the car shortly after the melee.
Before Holloway became a national story for her reported role in the deadly crash on the Vegas Strip, she was a local success story in her hometown of Portland, Ore., having gone from a homeless teen to a multi-scholarship-earning, first-generation college stu- dent.
Without a stable living situ- ation, because her mother threw her out, Holloway had a rocky first year in high school at best. Her GPA was a lowly 1.41, but counselors from the center helped Holloway bring her grades up. According to the news station, Holloway worked through myriad family problems to graduate from Portland’s Rosemary Anderson High with a 3.4 GPA. She also earned $17,000 in scholar- ships.
The story of the teen living the good life and the news that is emerging from Holloway's arrest paint two vastly differ- ent portraits. Police officials told the news station that Hol- loway may have been in Las Vegas for about a week and that they believe her to be homeless and living out of her car. She has not said much since being arrested, so police don’t know what made her snap.
Barbara Dawson died after being arrested for not leaving the hospital.
TALLAHASSEE, FL – On last Monday, 57-year-old Bar- bara Dawson went to the Liberty Calhoun Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla. hospital be- cause she was having trouble breathing.
She was checked by a doctor who noted that she was fine and discharged her. How- ever, Dawson didn't feel bet- ter, so she refused to leave. Police were called and Daw- son was handcuffed and es- corted from the building. Dawson collapsed on the way out and later died.
According to the Associated Press, the officer removed the handcuffs once Dawson col- lapsed and escorted her back into the hospital.

Federal investigators busted a Bahamas man for hacking into celebrities’ personal email accounts to steal television scripts and sexually explicit photos and videos, authorities said on Tuesday.
U.S. Homeland Security agents arrested Alonzo Knowles, 23, after he al- legedly sold an undercover fed- eral agent stolen“exclusive content” that was “really prof- itable” for $80,000, according to his criminal complaint filed in Manhattan federal court.
“From their email accounts, Knowles stole copyrighted scripts of movies and television shows that had not yet been publicly released, personal identifying information, such as social security numbers, and private sexually explicit photo- graphs and videos,” the com- plaint reads.
The federal probe began after Knowles allegedly emailed a “popular radio host” in early December to offer to sell the scripts for the first six episodes of an unreleased tele- vision show, according to the complaint.
The radio host called the show’s executive producer, who then called federal investi-

Corey Green, 32, was play- ing cards with friends in his Brooklyn, N.Y., apartment on Saturday when police officers busted his door in looking for a robbery suspect, his dad, John Green, 52, told the New York Post.
John Green claims that the police made all the men leave their card game for an impromptu lineup outside their Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment building. The vic- tim was in the backseat of a patrol car waiting to identify the robber.
John Green told the news- paper that while cops were col- lecting identification from the men, Corey Green, who had a warrant for drunk driving, began walking away.
That is when, John Green claims, police threw the father of two to the ground and began kicking him in the groin. The elder Green told the newspaper that his son had to have emergency surgery to

The sexually explicit photos
and videos were sent between a victim identified only as “a radio host” and another victim identified as a “television host and columnist,” the complaint states. Knowles was ar- raigned in Manhattan federal court Tuesday evening.
