Rapper Coolio ‘Very Happy’ And ‘Engaging’ Just Days Before Death
Snoop Dogg And Dr. Dre To Reunite For New Album 'Missionary'
Coolio appeared happy and healthy at the Houston airport just days before his unexpected death.
The “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper stopped to pose for self- ies and mingle with fans last Friday, TMZ reported. One such fan named Mika told the outlet that Coolio was “very happy to take some pics, laugh- ing and being very engaging.”
Mika added that the late per- former even invited her and her friends to his “I Love the ’90s” show in Cyprus, Texas, that night, and he got them all on a VIP list.
Unfortunately, the group did- n’t attend because it was “too far” and understandably regret the decision, as it would turn out to be his last live perform- ance.
Rapper Vanilla Ice also per- formed that night and later told TMZ that he was “still in shock and freaking out” about his friend’s passing. He told the outlet that the pair hung out in Ice’s dressing room after the set and Coolio seemed to be in great shape.
“See you tomorrow, homie,” was the last thing Coolio said to Ice.
Snoop dropped the bombshell during a recent appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s Know Mercy podcast, where he re- vealed the project is called Mis- sionary and is due to be finished in November, although it’s un- clear how soon it will be re- leased.
Next month will mark 29 years since Snoop and Dre joined forces on the former’s first album Doggystyle, which ex- tended the winning partnership they formed on 1992’s The Chronic — to record-breaking sales.
“I’ma tell you this, you’re the first one to hear this: me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two

The “Rollin’ With My Homies” rapper died Wednes- day, his longtime manager con- firmed. He was 59. Coolio was found on the floor of a friend’s bathroom in Los Angeles, and when paramedics arrived, they performed CPR on him for 45 minutes — to no avail.
The “West Up!” performer’s official cause of death is still pending, though EMTs report- edly suspected cardiac arrest.
He is survived by his six chil- dren and ex-wife Josefa Salina, whom he married in 1996. The former couple called it quits four years later.
months,” Snoop said at the 34:30 mark.
“And it’ll be done in Novem- ber. It’s produced by Dr. Dre, it’s our 30th anniversary to Dog- gystyle. And the name of the album is Missionary.”
When Smith asked: “Why that name?” Snoop replied: “The first album was Doggystyle,” prompting a roar of laughter from the sports personality. “That is beautiful. I love it, man,” Smith commented.
21 Savage Confronts Wack 100 For Calling Him A Snitch
21 Savage confronted Wack 100 for calling him a snitch last night on Clubhouse.
On Saturday (Oct. 1), 21 Savage squared up with Wack 100 on Clubhouse after the rap manager called him a snitch during a previous Club- house chat session. In a clip that was posted on Neighbor- hood Talk, 21 denied he was an informant and told Wack to not speak on things about him that he knows nothing about.
"There's a lot of sh*t going on, right, and I don't speak on," he said. "Like I have you seen you go through real life sh*t on the internet or what- ever, right? And I don't speak onit.Idon'tmakefunofit,I don't speculate about it. Just

give me the same respect, gang."
"What chu mean?" asked
Wack.
"You calling me a snitch, man," 21 responded. "Bro, you on the internet saying you think I'm an informant. Come on, man."
"Bruh, I ain't made up noth- ing about you, that's messed up," he added.
In a previous Clubhouse chat session, Wack 100 accused 21 Savage of being an inform- ant in the Young Thug/YSL racketeering case in Atlanta. He thinks that since 21 has not been deported yet in his ongo- ing immigration case, that means he's helping Fani Willis, who is the District At- torney for Fulton County, Ga., in the YSL RICO case.
YNW Melly Accused Of Planning Escape From Jail
YNW Melly is being accused of planning an escape from the Broward County Jail by claim- ing he would get the assistance of one of his attorneys.
On Tuesday (Sept. 27), an- other pre-trial hearing was held for YNW Melly's upcoming double-murder trial to discuss a motion to request removal of visitation, communication or in- teraction restrictions that have been placed on Melly, born Jamell Demons, since March.
During the hearing, the pros- ecution provided evidence from a confidential source that YNW Melly conspired to attempt a jail break back in April.
“The confidential source gave us two pieces of information. One of them [about the shank

and drugs] turned out to be a hundred percent true,” Chris- tian Tsoubanos, Assistant General Counsel for the Broward Sheriff’s Office told the court on Tuesday. “And when they did the search of Demons’ cell, they did not find the hand-
cuff key, but it could have been that there was not an opportu- nity to bring it into the facility yet.”
Additionally, the Broward County Sheriff’s General Coun- sel’s Office provided a statement to Complex spelling out the alle- gations.
“On April 11, 2022, Broward Sheriff’s Office received a confi- dential tip regarding inmates Nicholas Lewis and Jamell Demons, both housed in the same unit at the Main Jail, plan- ning an escape from jail by hav- ing Demons’ attorney bring in two handcuff keys to aid in the escape," the statement reads in part. "Additional information provided by the source was that Lewis had a shank and drugs.”
