Meek Mill Believes DaBaby Is Being 'Blatantly' Blackballed
Fat Joe Sues His Accountants After Losing Over $300K In Alleged Ponzi Scheme
Meek Mill has a theory about DaBaby's recent fall from prominence and the Philadelphia rapper believes there are people behind the scenes sabotaging his col- league's career.
On Thursday (Sept. 29), Meek Mill shared his hy- pothesis with his followers on Twitter.
"They blatantly black balling Dababy," Meek posted. "Not my business but ima observer."
Meek Mill's suspicion comes on the heels of DaBaby releasing his new album Baby on Baby 2 on Sept. 23, and the LP being projected to move a signifi- cantly lesser amount of units than his previous album Blame It on Baby. While Blame It on Baby pushed 124,000 units and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in April of 2021, the new album is expected to move much less, with some

Fat Joe has accused his ac- countant of misappropriating funds under his and his wife’s names, and using the accounts of several MLB players to cover their tracks.
After Joe’s long time CPA, Andre N. Chammas, fired his assistant Vanessa Rodriguez, the rapper claims to have no- ticed several irregularities in the way Chammas’ firm, BDO, was handling his business ac- counts.
According to TMZ, he first noticed that several AMEX ac- counts had been opened under his wife Lorena Cartagena’s name, without the couple’s knowledge.
The credit cards were used to make multiple large purchases, including tuition payments for Rodriguez’ daughter and $40,000 in combined Uber and Uber Eats charges. Upon further investigation, Joe claims to have noticed several of his busi- ness entities were missing large

deposits.
One of his companies,
Sneaker Addict Touring, was shorted out of more than $300,000. He further claims the company attempted to cover its mismanagement of funds by running a Ponzi scheme, involv- ing players from the Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox.
estimates being less than 20,000.
On Wednesday (Sept. 28), DaBaby reacted on Insta- gram to a sales projection that had Baby on Baby 2 sell- ing 16,500 units first week. The North Carolina rapper seemed content.
"Not bad for da blackballed Baby," he wrote on the post along with a flex emoji.
DaBaby's career has taken a downturn since he in- famously went on a homo-
phobic rant during his per- formance at 2021 Rolling Loud Miami last summer. He initially defended his onstage outburst. The following month, he apologized to the LGBTQ+ community. How- ever, just days later, he re- moved the apology from his Instagram page. His actions surrounding his volatile rela- tionship with his youngest child's mother DaniLeigh have also turned some fans off.
Iman Shumpert Gifts Teyana Taylor A Corvette For 6-Year Anniversary
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert are celebrating six years of marriage, and the latter has gifted his partner with a classy, old-school Corvette to commemorate the occasion.
The R&B and alt-pop singer has been living large as of late, showing love to Janet Jackson when she appeared at a tour stop and recently directing a music video for Diddy, so this Corvette seems like icing on the cake. With the new gift, her pro basketball-playing husband also shared some words of appreciation and encouragement that’s quite the tear-jerker. He compares their relationship to main- taining a new car (real ro- mantic, my guy), which makes the gift all the more meaningful.
“Men love the stories,” he began, “the headaches, and the delicacies you have to put into refurbishing an old school because once it’s done

and back on the road you can truly appreciate the time and the times you have in it. It makes a statement to your inner self that no one could see this but you!”
“Years ago,” the former New York Knick continued, “I told you I wanted a family and you gave me that. I bent my knee to you and you ac- cepted my headache and trauma. You’ve pumped my brakes and fixed me up every
time I had bump or bruise.” “So yes, I could’ve gotten you a brand new car...” he wrote, “but this car will sym- bolize a relationship that’s been through it all. The nos- talgia of the Corvette you wanted is heard but I want you to dress this one up little by little like we’ve done in this 6 years and make sure this motherf**ker ride for- ever! I love you Mrs
Shumpert. Year 6.”
