Special and visual effects were superb, but the confusing storyline will put you to sleep. Disappointed! Wait for it on DVD. Made $63M. (Budget $190M). Disney might lose big on this film. ***
Mad Max: Fury Road - Ac- tion fans, this classic is what you are looking for. Director George Miller (Mad Max, Road Warrior) revisits the Mad Max franchise with the best script of insane
mayhem. Fast and the REAL FU- RIOUS. Amazing non-stop stunts and action scenes. Just flat out crazy! In a hopeless desert landscape, where water is gold, Max (Tom Hardy) and Furiosa ( Charlize Theron) join forces un- expectantly to escape the evil warlord (Hugh Keays-Byrna) and Nux (Nicholas Hoult). Fu- riosa and Max are on the run in a War machine to her homeland. Must-see for real hard core ac- tion fans. Made $116M U. S./Foreign $165M. (Budget $150M). ***** (classic).
Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) - After a terrible performance at the Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas (Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfield) enter an international competition that no American group has ever won. Very entertaining and funny. En- joyed it! Made $147M. (Budget N/A). ****

Ex Machina - A program- mer (Domhnall Gleeson) is se- lected by a billionaire programmer (Oscar Isaac) to participate in evaluating the human qualities of an A.I. robot (Alicia Vikander). This movie moved slow, but it kept my atten- tion. Very smart and interesting. The ending was unexpected. Made $23M. (Budget N/A). ***1⁄2
Unfriended (2014) - A group of online chat friends (Heather Sossaman, Matthew Bohrer) find them- selves haunted by an evil spirit using the Youtube account of their dead friend. You have to give this horror movie credit for being different. Cyberbullying is a serious problem. Made $32M. (Budget N/A). ***
The Longest Ride - Director George Tillman, Jr. (Barbershop, Notorious, Soul Food) directs this drama/romance film about a former champion bull rider (Scott Eastwood) and a college student (Britt Robertson) trou- bled relationship. Their relation- ship intertwined with a much older man (Alan Alda), as he re- flects back on a past love. If you like romance films, then this one is for you. Made $36M. (Budget $34M). ***1⁄2
