Tyrese called out his The Fast and the Furious co- star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson over the week- end after learning of his plans to move forward with a spin- off film based on John- son’s character Luke Hobbs.
On Tuesday (September 12), Tyrese explained his ac- tions in a lengthy Instagram post and wrote about the love he has for his co-star.
“This is not a #Rant I’m no Rock #Hater and I don’t want his #Life,” he wrote. “I love my own......I’m doing this for the #FastFamily I’m loyal and I apologize for being loyal but dammit I am.”his all kicked off on Sunday (Sep- tember 10) after Tyrese commented on one of John- son’s posts, calling out the Hollywood heavyweight for
failing to respond to his text messages.
“If you move forward with that #Hobbs movie you will have purposely ignored my heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter,” he wrote. “I don’t wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about – I’m on your timeline cause you’re not re- sponding to my text messages – #FastFamily is just that family...... We don’t fly solo.”
Following the April release of The Fate of the Furious (the eighth film in the fran- chise), reports suggested Uni versal was planning a spin-off project based on Johnson and co-star Jason Statham’s characters. It was also reported the movie could be made while the ninth in- stallment of the franchise is being figured out.
Another day, another win for streaming services.
Hulu has acquired the rights to all of the shows from ABC's classic "TGIF" lineup includ-
ing Full House, Family Mat- ters, Step By Step, Perfect Strangers and Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.
They plan to promote the
shows as a block and appeal to both younger audiences as well as the "TGIF" generation.
The shows will become avail- able on Hulu on September 29.

The Insecure star confirmed on her social media pages Tuesday (Sept. 12) that she will be collaborating with the iconic makeup line for their upcoming campaign.
“In all my awkward, black years I never imagined I’d be a @COVERGIRL! SO honored & SO excited,” she wrote. She joins the likes of Rihanna, Zendaya, Queen Latifah and more gorgeous women of color who have collaborated with the line.

JAY-Z headlined the first two nights at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens, New York on Friday (September 15). As he ran through his performance of vintage Hov and new tracks from 4:44, he paused for a mo- ment before kicking off “The Story of O.J.” to pay tribute to both Colin Kaepernick and the late comedian/activist
Dick Gregory.
