The Game Sells His Weed Dispensary For $7 Million
Dr. Dre And Beats Says Monster LLC Owes Him Millions
Compton rapper Game just completed a huge marijuana deal, and it's all legitimate.
The rapper's dispensary busi- ness The Reserve in Santa Ana, California, was just acquired for a whopping $7 million.
Game bought a stake in The Reserve in August of 2016, with the intention of selling mari- juana, oils, and other products, including his own line Trees by Game.
Last Thursday(September 14), Game's company was sold to a publicly traded company called Terra Tech.
Terra Tech is going to rebrand Game's dispensary under a new name, "Blüm," which is a franchise of dispensaries the company operates in California and Las Vegas.
Blüm already has multiple lo- cations and the addition of Game's dispensary in Santa Ana helps the company expand into the California market,
The tables have turned against Monster LLC, in the company's legal war against Dr. Dre's Beats by Dre.
Lawyers for Beats claim a three-year audit has found that Monster cheated them out of tens of millions in royalties.
Beats claims Monster owes over $71 million in back royal- ties, for products that were sold and distributed under a 2012 licensing agreement.
The legal wrangling be- tween the two parties started in 2014, shortly after Dr. Dre's Beats Electronics was sold to Apple for $3 billion.
Monster sued Dre, and

where they already operate a franchise in Oakland.
