T-Boz Talks About Foolishness On Internet Regarding TLC’s Final Album
CHILI AND T-BOZ
Last week, angry TLC fans were wondering where the group’s final album was. In the spring, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas revealed they were starting a Kick- starter page to raise money for the costs of recording, mixing, marketing, etc. They raised over $400,000, including a $5,000 donation from Katy Perry.
The album was slated to drop in September, then Octo- ber, then it was pushed back to 2016. Fans became restless, creating the hashtag #TLCIs- GoingToTJailParty and post- ing hilarious memes.
Recently, T-Boz called in to the Rickey Smiley Morning Show to address the angry fans, setting the record straight once and for all. T- Box explained it was a scam
and calling out the internet bullies.
“We’ve sent emails to [every- body who donated] and then on top of that we’ve done a press release,” she said. “I re- fuse to address ignorance be- cause there’s a lot of followers out there. They hear one com- ment, jump on the bandwagon and then fail to do their re- search.”
She continued, “That’s the problem I find disappointing especially with our people. It’s mostly our people doing it, you don’t ever see other races on the Internet dogging people out the way Black people do each other. It’s embarrassing and it’s unfortunate to me.”
Chilli has yet to address the controversy, and there's still no clear date set for the release of the group's final album.
Dream Team Entertainment LLC is becoming a nightmare for The Game. The promotion company has legally demanded $525,000 from The Game for failing to perform at the Ken- tucky Derby last October.
The claim alleges that The Game refused to perform after Dream Team refused to let him be he headlining act, The Jas- mine Brand reports. They said, per the contract, the rapper was to pay back the $35,000 and also sell out a $30,000 cancellation fee.
The Game has done nei- ther, they allege.
The Game presumably missed an October 30 court day, causing Dream Team En- tertainment to file for a default judgement.
The Game
Dream Team seeks is $355,000 in lost revenue, $160,000 from ticket sales losses and want restitution for $10,000 losses in ticket sales.
Rapper Azealia Banks Allegedly Attacks Security At Club
Azealia Banks has gone from throwing insults to punches.
The controversial rapper, 24, is being investigated for as- saulting a security guard out- side of a Los Angeles club it was reported Tuesday.
Banks and company al- legedly were partying at Break Room 86 when they were asked to leave by security, be- cause of her “unruly” behavior. As she was being walked out the building, the “212” emcee is alleged to have tried to pull a fire alarm. When the guard at- tempted to stop her, it’s re- ported that she and her crew “jumped” the man.
Along with the report, the website also includes security footage that appears to show Banks participating in the al-

leged attack. LAPD is said to be looking into the altercation. The news of the investiga- tion comes just one day after it was announced that Banks was canceling her latest tour for a second time in a matter of
months.
Jas Prince Not Done With Lawsuit Over Drake Royalties?
Jas Prince, Drake, Lil Wayne and Birdman
It appeared Jas Prince had finally ended his lawsuit against YMCMB over unpaid Drake royalties. Reports began to circulate that Prince agreed to an $11 million settle- ment with the company. Ac- cording to TMZ, the legal fight is not over.
The website reports: Drake’s pal, Jas, filed docs
to dismiss his federal lawsuit in Florida against Cash Money and Aspire Music Group. Jas is seeking millions in unpaid royalties he says are owed to him for discovering Drake and bringing him to Birdman and Lil Wayne’s label.
But our Prince sources tell us the real reason for the dis- missal is ... Jas plans to refile the suit in New York.
Back in June, Prince spoke with Fader about his role in connecting the future plat- inum-selling artist with the Young Money label. Lil Wayne’s YM is an imprint under Cash Money Records which is headed by Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams.
“Cortez Bryant is Wayne’s manager. When we figured out that we wanted to work on the [Drake] project, Cortez flew down to Houston and sat with me and my dad [Rap-A-Lot Records founder James Prince] and we talked about how we were going to do it—50/50, with him and Wayne and me and my dad, Young Money and Young Em- pire, said Prince.
