Lawyers For Brian Flores, Other
Coaches Blast Idea Of Roger
Goodell Leading Arbitration
Lawyers for three Black NFL coaches alleging racial bias by the league took aim at commissioner Roger Good- ell on Wednesday in their lat- est arguments against arbitrating a dispute they say belongs before a jury.
In papers filed in Manhat- tan federal court, the lawyers wrote that arbitration would allow "unconscionably biased one-sided 'kangaroo courts'" to decide the outcome of the lawsuit filed in February by Brian Flores, who was fired in January as head coach of the Miami Dolphins. He is now an assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Two other coaches -- Car- olina Panthers defensive passing game coordinator Steve Wilks and former
NFL defensive coordinator Ray Horton -- later joined the lawsuit as plaintiffs.
Their lawyers said Good- ell, who would lead the arbi- tration if the case is not decided by a jury, could not be fair in overseeing and rul- ing on the dispute as to whether the NFL engages in systemic discrimination.
They included in their sub- mission articles about Good- ell's salary and other personal details.
They cited the hundreds of millions of dollars he earns from teams, his public state- ment that the lawsuit is with- out merit and the likelihood that he could be a witness in the case.

Jon Gruden Says He Would Want 1 SEC Job
Players: 'It Was Just A Practice'
Jon Gruden’s name al- ways seemed to pop up in col- lege football rumors during the former Super Bowl coach’s time as an ESPN an- nouncer.
Gruden never left for the college ranks, but there is one job he jokes he would want to have now.
Gruden was a featured guest speaker at the Little Rock Touchdown Club last week. During his appearance, Gruden was asked how seri- ous he was about the Arkansas job in late 2012 when rumors said he was in the mix.
“I wouldn’t say they were real serious conversations,” Gruden.
Then the former Las

"It was just a practice. It was football," Donald said Wednesday in an interview for an upcoming episode of the AP Pro Football Podcast. "I don't really want to go back to nothing negative that hap- pened and talk about some- thing that happened in a practice. My main focus is Buffalo."
JON GRUDEN
Vegas Raiders head coach shared why he never wanted to coach college ball, but why his mind has now changed.
“I was concerned about being a college coach because I would have ya on the death penalty probation within six months,” Gruden said.
Gruden then joked that he’d love to have the Arkansas Razorbacks job now that Name, Image and Likeness rules allow players to be paid.
