RAY WILLIAMS
MR. GARY HARDY DILBERT
Mr. Gary Hardy Dilbert of Tampa, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018. A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, Septem- ber1at2p.m.atRayWilliams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Mr. Gary Dilbert was a na- tive and resident of Tampa for most of his life. He attended Hillsborough County Schools and was employed by the same school system for the majority of his career.
He was a lifelong church- goer, attending multiple local churches. He also lived briefly in Atlanta, Georgia, and worked at The Carter Center.
Mr. Dilbert was preceded in death by: both parents, Glen and Dorothy Dilbert, and four older brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Earlene Tomlinson (Travis); a brother, Edward Frank Weaver; nieces, Monya, Tracee (Gregory), Kel- lie, Jamika, Marsha (Luis), and Laurie; and nephews, Jerome and Michael; and a host of other relatives and friends.

MR. EL’QUINTIN KORRDEL JOHNSON
Mr. El’Quintin Korrdel John- son of Tampa passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, Sep- tember 1 at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, with Pastor Ray- ford Harper, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
El’Quintin was born on August 19, 1999, to the proud parents of Vanessa Gordon-York and Michael Lee Johnson. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church of West Tampa at the tender age of 14.
He attended Monroe Middle School, where he played the French Horn in the band. He played for the Interbay Little League team from the age of 12 to 14. He also played for the South Tampa Titans from the age of 12 to 13. He attended T. R. Robinson High School. During his freshman year, he played for Robinson High School football team.
He was a member at the Boys and Girls Club from the age of 12 to 17 years old. During his time at the Boys and Girls Club, he made beats and did volunteer services where he was in the leadership program. He was employed at Wal-Mart and made employee of the month after being there for just a short period of time because he was such a great associate.
During his 18 years of life, he showed a great sense of humor and loved everyone he was around. He had a welcoming smile and always greeted loved ones with a hug.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his parents, Vanessa Gor- don-York and Michael Lee Johnson; brothers, El’Quincy Gordon, Jaylon Gordon and Jayvon Gordon; sisters, Alexis Johnson, Anaiya Johnson and Mia Johnson; grandmother, Mary McGee (LV McGee); grandfather, Edward McDaniel (Jackie Mc- Daniel); grandmother, Carol Sweeny; great grandmother, Lavelle Sheppard (Joe Sheppard); and his Dog named Six; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, August 31 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MRS. VERDI LORREEN ASHMEADE
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Verdi Lorreen Ashmeade, who passed away on August 17, 2018, will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11 a. m. at Temple Terrace United Methodist Church, 5030 E. Busch Blvd., Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Dr. St. Clair Moore, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Sunset Mem- ory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Florida.
Verdi was predeceased in death by her husband, Tony; fa- ther, Burl; sister, Deborah and brother, Desmond.
She is survived by: her chil- dren, Andre, Anna-Kay, Ryan, Corey and Craig; mother, Zeta; siblings, Deloris and Burl; her cherished nephew, Rishi; her beloved aunt, Andrea; in-laws, Andrew and Terri, for whom she cared deeply; also many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless family and friends who loved her dearly.
Mrs. Verdi Lorreen Ashmeade was born in Long Island, New York on August 12, 1962, to the parentage of Burl Harvey Easton and Zeta Shields Easton. She was a resident of Tampa for a number of years.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day August 31, 2018 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5 – 8 p. m., with the family present to receive friendsfrom7–8p.m.inthe chapel.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

PASTOR WILLIE L. FOWLER, JR.
Pastor Willie L. Fowler, Jr. of Valrico, FL., passed away Satur- day August 25, 2018. Funeral Services will be conducted Satur- day, September 1, at 2 p. m. at Brown Memorial C. O. G. I. C., 2313 E. 27th Ave., with The Right Reverend Bishop Matthew Williams, officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, Septem- ber 3, at 10 a. m. at the Florida Na- tional Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513.
Pastor Willie L. Fowler, Jr. was a native of Scottsdale, Geor- gia, and a resident of Tampa for 32 years. He was educated in the Public Schools of Scottsdale, GA. and was the Pastor of The New Palm River Church of God In Christ.
Mr. Fowler retired as a Re- gional Service Manager for Gen- eral Motors Company.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: a devoted wife, Mother Myr- tis Fowler; his sons, Bruce Fowler (Wendy), Andrea Fowler (Alana), Corintheus Fowler and Corneilus Fowler; his daughter, Nakita Fowler; his grandchildren, Jamie, Corey, Brandi, David, Andrea, Jr., Susan, Marini, Jaylen, Coby, and Jacob; and a great-grandson, Grayson; brother, Bishop Miles Fowler (Helen); sister, Doris Jackson; a loving Church family, and a host of in-laws, other rela- tives and friends.
The remains will repose and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Friday, August 31, at The New Palm River Church of God In Christ, 1304 W. 58th Street.

MR. BOBBIE GIDDENS
Mr. Bobbie Giddens of Tampa, FL, passed away on Au- gust 23, 2018. Homegoing Cel- ebration will be conducted on Saturday, September 1, at 2 p. m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace St., Rev. T. D. Leonard, Pastor; Rev. Bobby Davis, officiating and Rev. Clarence Williams, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Bobbie Giddens was a native of Tampa, FL and a resi- dent of Tampa for 70 years. He graduated from Howard W. Blake High School in 1967. Mr. Giddens attended Bethune- Cookman College and earned his Associate of Arts degree from Hillsborough Community College.
Mr. Giddens worked as a Computer Operator for Quest Diagnostics and later for the Tampa Tribune where he re- tired in 2007.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. Troy Gid- dens and Mrs. Ophelia Gid- dens.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Gloria Gid- dens; sons, Jernard Giddens and Jermaine Giddens; sister, Shelah Giddens; mother-in- law, Janie Glen; sister-in-law, Margie Maye; beloved cousins, Lueretha McCray, Harold Mc- Cray, Harriet McCray, Kaplan McCray, John Corker (Connie) of Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen Corker, JoAnn Corker, Alfonso Corker of Cairo, GA, Ella Mae Mauldin, Ron Mauldin of Hart- ford, CT, and the McNair and Thomas families; goddaughter, Tammy Williams of Virginia Beach, VA; godson, Santiago Mojica; special embraced sons and daughters, Howard Mojica (Hazel), Louis Tramel, Chris- tian Tramel and Desmond Jamieson (Susan), Arjelyia Aikens, Glenda Adams, Nicole Stadom, Katrina Caldwell- Abreu, Shaquita Simpson (Wal- ter) and Denitra Harvey; close friends, Lee Reddick, Douglas and Ruthie Sampson, Leroy Mack, Samuel Kitchen, Gloria and George Adams, and Samuel Jackson.
