  MR. CLARENCE LEROY PRESTON, JR.
Mr. Clarence Leroy Preston, Jr. (“Butch”) passed away on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Rest Haven Memorial Ceme- tery, (Northside) 9:30 a.m.
Mr. Preston was born in Tampa, FL on April 20th, 1952, to his late parents, Clarence Preston Sr. and Ruby Gainey McDowell. He attended Hills- borough County Public Schools and graduated from Blake Sen- ior High, Class of 1970.
Preceding Clarence in death were: his parents, and sibling, Robyn Janet Preston.
He is survived by: 4 sisters, Constance L. Hill, Audrey C. Harris (Jonas), Helena Green, Ladonna Harvey; and a host of family members and friends.

  MR. HOOVER BALLARD
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Hoover Ballard, of Tampa FL, who passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 11:00 a.m., at Anointing Christian Fel- lowship, 2108 E. Ida St., Pastor Carolyn Dawson, officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Hoover was born on April 3, 1933, in Ramer, Alabama, to Math and Essie Ballard. Hoover Ballard had a passion for his- tory, he enjoyed recollecting sto- ries of the past and discussing momentous historic events he personally witnessed. He honor- ably served in both US Army and Air Force during the Korean War. After leaving the military he had an admirable 50-year ca- reer as a long-distance truck driver, a career that nurtured his love for geography and his- toric landmarks. He enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and cherished spending quality time with his family. He was a member of the Anointing Chris- tian Fellowship. He also enjoyed listening to music, playing trivia, and visiting the North Lake Sen- ior Adult Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his chil- dren, Minnie Ballard; daughter, Gogi Ballard; son, Carl Ballard; grandson at heart, Derrick “Disco” Johnson; and 16 broth- ers and sisters.
He leaves precious memories with his children, Rev. Coller Williams, Willie Ballard (Bay), Jaqueline Archibald (Relston), Jeffrie Miller (Larry), and Kat- rina Ballard; grandchildren,

 MRS. ASHUNTI DOUGLAS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Ashunti Shanette Douglas, who passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 1:30 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. John Douglas, offici- ating. The interment will follow in Hillsboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Brandon, FL.
Ashunti was born on July 6, 1980, in Gainesville, Florida. Ashunti received most of her ed- ucation in Gainesville, Florida. Ashunti graduated high school from Gainesville High School. Shortly after graduation, Ashunti began dating the love of her life, John Douglas. Ashunti eventually moved to Tallahassee to continue her education at Tal- lahassee Community College. Ashunti transferred to Florida State University, later receiving her bachelor’s degree in Fi- nance. Ashunti went on to earn her master’s degree in Business Administration.
Ashunti and John welcomed their first son in 2002. Ashunti took some time off work to excel as a stay at home mother. Ashunti was soon hired at Citibank, but shortly left the po- sition, and began working as a home manager for The Home Shopping Network (HSN). Due to Ashunti’s hard work and ded- ication, she returned back to Citibank as the accountant and eventually was promoted to Vice President. John and Ashunti were married in August 2006. They were blessed with two more children in 2011 and 2012. Ashunti maintained her position as Vice President until her pass-
ing.She leaves precious memo- ries with her parents, Frank Ford, Sr., and Kathy Henderson; husband, John Douglas; sons, Brandon and Dyson Douglas; daughter, Zaila; siblings, Frank F. Ford, Jr., Rolanda and Eric Ford, Trevor (Steve) Martin, Dimitri Stacy, and Abya Her- ring.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Antonio Cornelius Fergu- son, of Tampa, FL., who passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 3:30p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, a local minister will be officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Antonio was born on May 3,1960 to Alfred Alonso and Uni- vee Ferguson. His favorite hob- bies included watching old movies, loving on his many dogs (Cheesecake, Peanut Butter, and Li’l Buddy, to name a few).
Antonio was preceded in death by brother, Lorenzo Fer- guson.
He leaves precious memories with his wife, Sandra Campbell Ferguson; children, Chiquita Williams, Mario Ferguson, Hyson Williams, and Antonio C. Ferguson II; parents, Alfred Alonso and Univee Ferguson; brother, Demetrius Ferguson (Janice); sister, Jonelle Fergu- son; great aunt, Catherine Gain- ous of South Carolina; nephews, Lorenzo Myles of California and Derrick Ferguson (Erica), and Deandre Turner II all of Tampa, FL; cousins, Milton Smith (Ceola), Annette Hillman, and John Smith; stepfather-in-law, Willie B. White; brother-in-law, Bernard L. Campbell; step- daughter, Tichinia F. Jones; and step granddaughters, Skiyias A. and Andrea T. Flagler; and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Homegoing Memorial Cele- bration for Ms. Consuelo Martha Eusebia Figueroa, who passed on Monday, July 11, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 1:00p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Gregory Green, officiating.
Consuelo was born March 4, 1979 to Francisco and Gloria Figueroa. She worked at a den- tist office and graduated from cosmetology school in Tampa, Florida. Consuelo was 43 years old and led by the Lord to come home to Him and rest. She was a member of Allen Temple AME Church in Tampa, Florida. She lived in Tampa for 38 years.
She was preceded in death by: her sister, Debbie Dixon.
