New Mt. Zion MB Church Presents ‘The Passion Of Jesus Christ’ On Good Friday
“The crucifixion and res- urrection of Jesus Christ is the seminal event that de- fines the Christian faith and human history. I am ex- cited that we are able to present this awesome event in dramatic form for the community,” says Rev. Larry Roundtree, II, Pastor of New Mount Zion.
This play is a powerful account of the events lead- ing to the death and resur- rection of Jesus Christ. Attendees can expect a high-energy production featuring an array of gospel music, scripture, song and dance.
The Passion of Jesus Christ is being directed by
REV. AND MRS. LARRY L. (SAMEYA) ROUNDTREE, II
the First Lady of New Mount Zion, Mrs. Sameya Roundtree. This production has been a labor of love for Sis.
Roundtree, and she said, “It is my prayer that the real love of Jesus is experienced through everyone perform- ing and supporting this production.”
There will be perform- ances by Fatricia Camp- bell, Gloria Miller, Crysandra Scott, Voices of Praise, New Mount Zion Praise Team, and Tampa Bay Youth and Young Adult Choir. There will be special presentations by Daughters of Zion and Total Praise Mime.
The Passion of Jesus Christ is a one-night-only show on Good Friday, April 14th, 6 p. m., at Riverview High School
(11311 Boyette Rd., Riverview, FL 33569). Tickets can be purchased online at https://thepas- sionmztampa.eventbrite.co m, and all ages are welcome to attend.
