A federal judge has sen- tenced a 36-year-old man to 15 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to drug charges on April 14, 2022.
Marvin “MJ” Mitchell, of St. Petersburg, pleaded guilty to the follow- ing charges: conspiracy and possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine.

Police Arrest Suspect For Attempted Murder, Seeks 2nd Suspect
  According to court docu- ments and evidence pre- sented at his sentencing hearing, between April and June 2019, Mitchell oper- ated several rooms at the Ex- press Inn motel in Clearwater.
Mitchell then directed his conspirators to sell fen- tanyl, heroin, and crack co- caine out of those motel
rooms.
The sale of these danger-
ous narcotics led to dozens of drug overdoses in the Ex- press Inn motel, and the sur- rounding area. On June 17, 2019, law enforcement exe- cuted search warrants at the Express Inn and seized fen- tanyl, heroin, crack cocaine, used syringes, cash, and a drug ledger.
  Police Investigate Fatal Attack Of Man In North Tampa
 Police are investigating a murder that took place this weekend. The victim was in- jected with a drug and stabbed.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Leroy Collins Blvd., and E. Fowler Avenue, in response to a call they received around 3 p. m., Saturday.
Upon arrival, the officers located a man with upper
body trauma. The unidenti- fied man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police said although the location of the murder was near the USF campus, it was not on the campus. Police have not released any addi- tional information on the murder.

CIRIACO DELACRUZ Arrested
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice have arrested one man and are looking for a second suspect in an attempted mur- der case. The men are ac- cused of injecting another man with Fentanyl, duct taped him and stabbed him.
The incident took place Monday evening, August 15, 2022, the victim was some- one they knew and they be- lieved he would report their illegal activities to police.
The incident took place in the 5300 block of Garden Lane, in Tampa. The men forced their victim into a bathroom of the home. They injected the victim with Fen- tanyl against his will, duct taped him, and then pro- ceeded to physically attack him and stab him. The victim was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he survived, and his condition is stable.
Through investigative means, detectives were able to identify and arrest 44- year-old Ciriaco DelaCruz. He is facing mul- tiple charges, among them attempted murder in the first-degree with a weapon.
ATTEMPTED MURDER SUSPECT
Police are now looking for the second suspect, only known at this time as “TC.”
“TC” is transient and is believed to be in the area of Hillsborough Avenue and North Habana Av- enue. He is described as a white Hispanic male, ap- proximately 28-33 years old, 6’ tall, with thin build, short black hair, and short black beard. He has a flame tattoo on his neck, and a five-point star tattoo on one of his arms.

said, “This is a violent and dangerous criminal that needs to be found and ar- rested.
“If anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts, please don’t approach him. Call us, and let our deputies bring him in.”

 Two Suspects Nabbed After Robbing Bank
 Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice were able to apprehend two suspects after they robbed a bank. The robbery took place on Saturday, Au- gust 20, 2022, at the Bank of America, 10301 N Dale Mabry Highway.
According to police, a man entered the bank at 10:17 a. m. He jumped onto the teller’s counter and then be- hind it, demanding money from the bank employee. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the sus- pect left in a waiting white Honda Accord.
Detectives were able to lo- cate the vehicle at the Park on Waters Apartments, 2701 W Waters Ave.
Shortly after locating the vehicle, deputies were able to connect the vehicle registered
to 48-year-old John Ward. Inside the vehicle, large amounts of cash were discov- ered that matched the money stolen from the Bank of America.
Deputies also located a male running in the area wearing only his boxers and a white tank top. The rest of his clothes were found at a nearby lake. After talking to detectives, 28-year-old
Terry Zukowski admitted to driving the white Honda Accord during the bank rob- bery.
He also admitted to driv- ing the getaway car during the bank robbery at the Sun- coast Credit Union on August 3, 2022.
John Ward and Terry Zukowski were both charged with robbery while wearing a mask.
