AIKENS
MRS. MINNIE R. HOBLEY
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Minnie R. Hobley of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, will be held on Satur- day, April 2nd, 10: 00 a.m. at Re- birth Baptist Church, 1924 E. Comanche Ave, Rev. Dr. Zachary Hudson, eulogist. The interment will be held in Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery.
Mrs. Minnie Hobley was born on September 7, 1934, in Bluffton, Georgia, to Rube and Alice Johns. Minnie received her education in Bluffton County Schools.
She and her family moved to Tampa, Florida in 1950.
She met her beloved husband, Orie Hobley, they were married, and to this union five children were born. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a loving neigh- bor to many. Minnie was happy being a housewife. They were happily married until he transi- tioned into his heavenly body in 2000.
Minnie was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Min- nie was the church secretary, on the Board of Trustees, she sang in the choir and worked on the flower committee. Minnie was a dedicated member for years be- fore health issues prevented her from serving.
Minnie departed this life in Columbus, Georgia, with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Orie Hobley, Sr.; parents, Rube and Alice Johns; daughter, Patricia Hobley; son, Orie Hobley, Jr.; grandson, Mon- tellieo Hobley; brothers, Donnell Johns, Willie Johns, Robert Johns, Sr., James Johns, and Eli Johns; sisters, Rose Small, Katherine Burr, Doris Taylor, and Lorine Berry.
Minnie leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Keith Hobley, James Hobley, and Nathaniel Hobley (Cherry); grandsons, Kevin Hobley, James Hobley, Jr., Nathaniel Hobley, Jr., and Donavon Hobley; nine great grands and three great, great grands; sister, Meraldine Banks; sister-in-law, Eller Mae Dixon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. “Special thanks to 2 special nieces, Jacqueline Bouazizi and Regina Berry.”
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 1st, from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

MRS. KATHY MONSALVATGE FELDER
Funeral services for the late Kathy Monsalvatge Felder, who passed away on March 24, 2022, will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Joseph Mission- ary Baptist Church, 5914 S. 78th Street, Tampa, FL 33619, at 1 p. m., Rev. Thomas Heyward, Pas- tor and Officiator.
Wake services will be Fri- day, April 1, 2022, from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. at the church.
Kathy Monsalvatge Felder was born August 4, 1959, in Tampa, FL to the late Leroy Monsalvatge and Catherine McPherson Monsalvatge. She was raised in Progress Village and attended East Bay High School.
She was loved by many and she loved her family. She loved to laugh and if you had a bad day, she would find some way to make you smile.
We appreciated her for her outspokenness and the fact that she didn’t hold back.
She loved cooking for family, playing Bingo, redesigning her clothes, listening to music and watching crime channels.
She is survived by: her 4 children, Latoya Monsalvatge, Rachael Lott, Raymond Lott, and Daymond Lott. Her siblings are: Wayne McPherson and wife, Pamela McPherson, Karen Monsalvatge Jones, Tracy Williams and husband, Gregory Williams, and Leroy Monsalvatge, Jr.; mother: Catherine Monsalvatge; god- daughters:
Tavia Morgan, Trina Johnson, and Kila Nealy.
She had a total of 7 grandchil- dren:
Jamarcus Monsalvatge, Keith Smith, Derrick Lango, Gariona Love, Deaundre Butler, Aniyah Williams, and Adrian Williams; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
We will miss her smile and her unforgettable voice. She will live on through her family and friends and will never be forgot- ten.

MRS. IWANDA DELORIS BREWER FRIERSON
Mrs. Iwanda Deloris Brewer Frierson, of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard, Tampa, FL, 33606, with Reverend An- thony Frierson, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.
Mrs. Iwanda D. Frierson was a native of Portsmouth, VA, and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. She attended Shaw Univer- sity and Florida A&M University and was a member of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a Speech Therapist and Support Agent at Hillsborough County, GTE -Veri- zon, and also worked as a Cashier at Dewey’s Liquor Store from 2012-2019.
She found joy in caring for her only grandson, Keith, after retire- ment. She looked forward to tak- ing him to and from school. She was a true superhero to all who know her.
Iwanda was preceded in death by: her mother, Mildred L. Brewer; father, Willie M. Brewer; and her husband, Jerry A. Frier- son.
Iwanda’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of: her son, Derek Frierson (Ladonia); daugh- ter, Carmen Frierson; grandson, Keith A. Breedlove (K.J.); brother-in-law, Anthony Frierson (Diana) of TX; cousin, Mary Lee Brewer of VA; niece, Gail Vinson; sister-in-law, Eleanor Powell; cousin, Sherone Grant of VA and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

MR. ROBERT LEE GUY
Mr. Robert Lee Guy of Bran- don, FL passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Exciting Cen- tral Tampa Baptist Church, 2923 N. Mr. Robert Guy was a native of Memphis, Arkansas, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 43 years. He at- tended Pine Bluff College and Saint Leo University. He retired as a Master Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force and retired as a Corpo- ral with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Eddie Lee Wilson; sis- ter in infancy, Jeanette Wilson; brother, Otis Lee Guyton; great aunt, Novella Haynes; grandpar- ents, Charlie and Callie Denwoody Guyton; first wife, Ratana Guy and grandson, D’Antay McRoy.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his devoted wife, Ada Fields- Guy; 4 daughters, Wasana Guy (Brian), Phanarat Guy (Kevin), Sonya Fields (Anthony), Latasha McRoy (Charlie); 3 brothers, Charles Lee Wilson, Sammy Lee Wilson, Jr., (Alice) and Curtis Lee Wilson (Linda); 2 aunts, Charlene Guyton and Elizabeth LeBlanc; 3 uncles, James Powell (Katherine), John Piles and Eugene Guyton (Gloria); 12 grandchildren, Kerry Guy, Mario Davis, Ciara Guy, Tierra Alexander, Micah Alexan- der, D’Angelo Best, Diont’a James, Kelsi Guy, Kendall Guy, Phillip Campisi, Briana McRoy, Ke’Yana McRoy; 24 great grand- children and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bradrick Lewis Hobdy was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 35 years. He attended Middleton High School and The Art Institute of Tampa Culinary School. He was an entrepreneur catering for many events.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Pearlie Mae Chapman and Flora Mae Hobdy.
