MR. JAMES STOKES
Mr. James Henry Stokes, of Carrollton, MS, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Wimauma, 5910 Vel Street, Wimauma, FL 33598, with Reverend Ikie Bun- ton, Officiating. MASK RECOM- MENDED.
Mr. James Henry Stokes was a native of Carrollton, MS and a resident of Tampa for 42 years. He attended Marshall High School and was a member of Spring Hill Missionary Bap- tist Church in Carrollton, MS. He was employed as a Truck Driver for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie Stokes, Sr., and Lue Emma Jorden Stokes; 8 siblings, Willie Stokes, Jr., Jim Jorden, Barbara Jean Simmons, Katie Mae Stokes, Mae Emma Thompson, Rosie Davis, Geraldine Visor, and Annie Ree Stokes Holman.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 32 years, Addie Lowe-Stokes; brother, John Stokes of NY; daughters, April Stokes and Corine Lowe; sons, Jeffery McIntosh (Cheryl), Ryan Jones (Heidi), Brian Lowe; stepchildren, Paul Lowe, Sr., (Krystal), Michael Lowe, Portiary Morgan (Jake), Audrey Morgan, and Daniel Morgan (Tanika); special nephews, Warren Thompson and Jimmy Jorden; special nieces, Demaris Stokes of MS, Shelia Davis, Cynthia Holman of TX and Nicole Lowe of FL; best friend, Roy Watson; like a son, Garland Bowers, and a host of nieces, nephews, grand- children, other relatives, and friends.

MR. JOHN ISAAC SHEFFIELD, III
Mr. John Isaac Sheffield, III, of Tampa, FL passed away on Fri- day, March 18, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Satur- day, April 2, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Holsey Temple CME Church, 3729 N. 15th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Reverend Anita D. Williams, Pastor, Officiating with Reverend Kevin Hobbs, Eu- logist. MASK RECOMMENDED. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mr. Sheffield was born on January 24, 1983, in Albany, GA, to John Sheffield, II, and Grace Royal Sheffield. Mr. Sheffield was baptized at an early age at Davis Chapel CME. He attended Blake High School, was a mem- ber of the football team and grad- uated in 2001. While attending high school, John also worked at New Soul Sandwich Shop, which is owned by his grandmother, Mattie Clark Royal.
After graduating from high school, John worked at TECO for several years, and then pursued a career in truck driving. John attended Werner Trucking School. Upon completion, John became a long-distance Truck Driver with Werner Enterprises, and continued working for a local trucking company until his death.
John loved sports and was a diehard fan of the Rays and Steelers.
He was preceded in death by: his father, John Sheffield, II.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and de- voted mother, Grace Royal Sheffield of Tampa, FL; brother, Gregory Sheffield of Tampa, FL; sister, April Sheffield of Albany, GA; grandmother, Mattie Royal of Tampa, FL; aunts; Deloris Diane Lovett (Joseph) of Riverview, FL, Lisa Gadson of Tampa, FL and Rowena Sheffield of Atlanta, GA; uncles, Bobby Royal of Tampa, FL, Antonio Williams of Tampa, FL, and Tri- monte King; devoted fiancée, Ashley Peppers of Lakeland, FL; great aunts, Annie Gaston (Robert), Fannie Davis (James) and Rubye Smith; great uncles, Willie Clark and Calvin Clark and a host of loving cousins and friends.

Homegoing Services for Mr. Alfred Bernard Philon will be held Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Wilson Funeral Home 3000 N 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 with Pas- tor Lamar Mills, Officiating. In- terment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Alfred was born on July 22, 1961, in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Robert Sr. and Lula Philon.
Alfred graduated from Bran- don High School in Hillsbor- ough County. Alfred enjoyed walking in the community and spending time at the Big Park. Alfred answered the Master’s call and ended his earthly jour- ney on Friday, March 18th, 2022.

MS. TOYNITA PILCHER
A Memorial Service for Ms. Toynita Pilcher will be held Sat- urday, April 2, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Brother Adrian Green, speaking.
Ms. Toynita Pilcher was born on August 28, 1943, in Tampa, Florida, to the parentage of Lemuel and Catherine M. Pilcher. “Toy”, as she was fondly called, was the oldest of seven children. She was a graduate of Middleton High School class of 1961. She at- tended Gibbs Junior College and did course work in Jacksonville for a degree in Business. Toy was later employed at GTE Telephone Company for many years before going to work for Hillsborough Community College as a secre- tary, focusing on student tran- scripts for college applications. A job she truly enjoyed.
Early in life, Toy had a quest for Bible knowledge, which led to her greatest joy of reading and studying God’s word. This search led her to study the Bible with Je- hovah’s Witnesses. She loved the Bible truths she was learning so much that soon she dedicated her life to Jehovah, symbolizing her dedication and was baptized on June 27, 1993.
On March 17, 2022, after a long battle with diabetes with years of complications, Toynita is now in the safest place in the universe, Jehovah’s memory. She waited the day she could an- swer his call and awake from her sleep, into the paradise on earth that God had promised.
Toynita was preceded in death by: her parents, Lemuel and Catherine Pilcher.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries of her with: four sisters, Carol and Cheryl Pilcher, Gloria M. Shaw, Sharon Niblack; two brothers, Freddie Pilcher and wife, Elizabeth, Ronnie Pilcher and wife, Marina; nephews, Christopher Pilcher and wife, Mona, Ankwan Pilcher and wife, Kahlilah, Neril Griffith and wife, Stephanie, Nevin Griffith, Quenell Johnson, Brea Pilcher;14 other great nieces and nephews, countless cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
