Local Mom And Entrepreneur Crowned Ms. Mompreneur 2017
Land O Lakes resident, Tia Young, was crowned during the Ms./Mrs. Corporate America Competition in Orlando
Tia Young was crowned Ms. Mompreneur on March 4, 2017 in Orlando, Florida at the Caribe Royale Hotel. The crowning took place during the Ms./Mrs. Corporate America (MCA) Competi- tion. This is the 10th year an- niversary for the MCA Organization based in Or- lando.
During the pageant week-
end activities, contestants vying for Ms. Corporate America and Mrs. Corporate American compete for their title. The Ms. Mompreneur title is selected and an- nounced in January, but the winner is not crowned until the pageant weekend in March.
The Ms. Mompreneur title awards female business owners who actively balance the role of mom and the role of entrepreneur. Contestants must be nominated for the title of Ms. Mompreneur.

community and has acted as role models for other women. “My friend, Kenyonn Demps, from Jacksonville completed and submitted the Mompreneur online applica- tion on my behalf. The appli- cation requested information about my business, family, community service, work history, letter of recommen- dation and photos,” Tia
stated.

lected and crowned the win- ner out of 15 nominees from across the United States. She is the mother of 3 daughters,
Anita, Jordyn and Taylor, ages 28, 21 and 15. She is happily married to Car Dealer, Victor Young. Tia is also the Founder and CEO of Tia Young Image and Eti- quette, LLC. She teaches business and dining etiquette to business professionals, en- trepreneurs, adults, college groups, teens and children.
Ms. Mompreneur 2017,
Tia Young, is excited about her year long reign. She plans to speak to moms and busi- ness owners about mother- hood, entrepreneurship and etiquette.
